This program is a godsend for Emulators. You can play 1990s games at 60-120 fps. Ignore the haters, "I saw a video that ran at 16x slowmo and zoomed in on some pixels I could never see in real world gameplay situations so it SUCKS!" those people are ignorant. Buy it, worth it.

I pre-ordered System Shock 2 back in 1999 after playing the demo. I loved it, was my favorite game ever when I finished it. Sadly despite amazing reviews and word of mouth it didn't sell well. It was way too ahead of its time and the gfx were bad even in 1999.

This remaster cleans it up for a 2025 audience. One of peoples biggest grips back in 1999 was how fast weapons degrade. At the end of the game you can repair them endlessly but if its a deal breaker for you there are already config file edits to reduce or remove weapon degradation.

I highly recommend finishing this then playing Bioshock. The lead producer for Bioshock said "I just said what was in System Shock 2 and how can I add it to this game?" Bioshock was an unofficial remake of System Shock 2

I loved this arcade game when I was a kid and completely forgot it existed. I typed it into youtube one day and found out this was on Steam. Same basic thing. Sadly when I lauched it it took up a tiny little box on my 1080p screen.

There is a fix for this. HIt Alt+Enter and put it into a window. Then download and run Borderless Gaming and pick the window for the game. Bam. Takes up your whole monitor.

Recommended for old school fans. People who never played the original arcade might not like it so much.

One of the best F2P games I have tried. Ton of fun with friends.

The only problem I had is random FPS drops for no reason I can see.

I played a bunch of the betas. Solid Battle Royal. The winter map is a lot of fun and has interesting gameplay. Great F2P PUBG alternative.
