So I am going to go ahead and start this by saying my initial views of this game were pretty bad.

I at first bought this game at full price and did not like it. Thought the character conversations were a bit clunky and the fighting system was to hard for me to understand (I am not typically one to play games like this).

After refunding it and some years went by I saw it on sale and saw that they released the second one. I ended up buying the highest bundle for both thinking well at worst there is a lot of value here.

After playing it again I gotta say I was in the wrong. For context I DIDNT EVEN GET OUT OF THE TUTORIAL SEQUENCE THE FIRST GO AROUND. It is somewhat rare for me to be so critical of a game so early so I fight the need to write this review. Nearly 20 hours in and it makes sense, your meant to feel powerless at the start.

Following the main sequence and one of the DLC mission where you play as the woman from your village I found myself understanding the combat after some failed stealth attempts and actually managing to kill some of the enemies.

Once finally porting back over to the MC my understanding of the game was already pretty good but then on top of that the game throws a very helpful tutorial. I am totally invested into this game now that I dont feel completely helpless against the enemies I am fighting.

Main point here:
You are a inexperienced young man, you are not going to win every encounter. This isn't a skyrim styled lets just wear away at the enemy. Combat is entertaingly dangerous and its rewarding to learn the mechanics and stay patient. If anyone is have second guesses or whatever I HIGHLY reccomend supporting these developers and playing this game. There is so much just beyond fighting. The religious elements are great and the history is rich. Highly reccomend at this point.
