A Good Indie games only work, when they have that special sauce. Innovation. Expertise.
Be it in gameplay, story, worldbuilding or soundtrack.
Cloudpunk just didn't have that.
Everything was passable, but nothing really stood out.

While the city was interesting in the beginning, after 5+ hours it all just becomes a blur.
Gameplay only consists of repeatedly delivering something from A to B with your hovercraft.
That only leaves you with a lackluster Story and it's voice acting, that is absolutely horrendous at times.

I am a sucker for the Cyberpunk genre.
I wanted to like this game, but it never let me :(

No other Game studio can create such a ride of emotions, than Nomada Studio.
Visuals are simple but beautiful. Music is mesmerizing as always. Voice acting is just TOO ADORABLE.
The puzzles never get boring. The Combat is actually pretty hard - very tight but rewarding.
The way Neva is utilized throughout the game is very creative.
Game is pretty short, but even for the price it is still well worth it imo.
But I'd rather say you should get it on a sale :)

If you're not sure yet, play GRIS first, then you'll know this game is also worth every penny.

Did not spark joy... like at at all.
If you don't like deckbuilder games, don't play it.
If you have never played a deckbuilder, you can try it and see why you don't like it.

Just extremely frustrating and repetitive, with random quirky mechanics thrown occasionally, that just makes it more of a mess, to the point, that you just want to get it over with and don't want to engage in any more systems.
It just felt like I was never fully in control of my actions, because in the end, it's just luck.
I'd randomly die at the first Turn because RNGsus had blessed me with a ♥♥♥♥ starter deck and I could't do anything about it.

The story was kind of engaging in the first Part, with the whole mystery, of whats outside.
Had I known, it turned out to be just a Creepypasta with awful Undertale Humor NPCs, I'd have already stopped then end there. This game is way to Meta, to the point, that it had complete access to my whole directory and stream friends list , so be warned. Luke Carder is a character, that is occasionally funny, but couldn't take seriously at all, so I coudn't really give a damn about that whole Story.

Barren Rocks have never looked so beautiful.
This is one of those games, that make you feel absolutely helpless.

There is no UI to guide you.
And while you have the voices that drive you forward, in the end you, you have to figure it out on your own.
Combat is simple, but relentless, with some enemies where I still don't know how to properly deal with them.
The Puzzles are quite simple, but they are good window dressing to the narrative and Senuas Psychosis.

The Story definitely builds upon the first game, but with an altered setting with other priorities.
I think that everyone will at least take some kind of wisdom out of the story.

While it is a very profound game, it is also quite short with only about 7h of playtime.
And that is why for most people I would say, only get it on a Sale!
50 bucks is a bit too much.

The Game and its engine is fighting against me with everything it has to throw at me.

Whacky level geometry, so I randomly just stop DEAD IN MY TRACKS.
Bad Enemy Physics, that stop me from passing through ANY ENEMY.
Wonky movement, that just isn't tuned correctly.
Artstyle, that gets stale very quickly.
Awful Bossfights.
Every Enemy just feels like a one trick after a while, so the only fun part is, how to manage the horde.
Any attempt at a new Enemy in the DLCs is just a bullet sponge or a pain to deal with (Spirit).
Unnecessary Skill mechanics.

2016 was better
play Ultrakill instead

It just really nails the atmosphere of this dystopian Sci-Fi control state.
You always have this urgency to press on, because you just kind of want to get out.
But also not, because you want to properly understand this world and it's inhabitants, so you actively feel motivated to read all the entry logs, to clear out all the rooms,
It all accumulates into this really abstract vision of a story that is both so ugly yet so beautiful at the same time, that you just can't turn away from.

The combat mechanics, the level design, the enemy design, the puzzles,
the sound track, the art style, the themes, the story, the characters.
I would't change a thing.
Not because I don't want to, it's because I can't.
It is just that perfect!

Could be fun,
If you overlook the unbalanced state of some (new) heroes and the countless controversies the Game and it's company had, in particular the head of the company.
Broken promises, hroken heroes, broken company, broken state of Pve, broken monetization, broken E-Sports, broken community.

Just please don't buy buy anything in the Shop, not even the Battle Pass.
That money goes straight to a certain someones new yacht.

Update:
3 Months in and the state of this game hasn't changed one bit.
But I have high hopes for next year, when the head of Blizzard is finally replaced.

Wasn't worth it.
Didn't care about any of the characters in it's story.
Either unfunny, or extremely stereotypic.
Sans, Undine, the whole underground World.
All of it is cringe, just like it's fanbase.

2/10 won't play a second run.
