Bit of a trash game. It is another one of those quickly produced and incomplete UE2 games which seem to be popping up everywhere, games full of promise and release with incomplete products.

Wow, what a fantastic game. Wouldn’t think it is FREE. Yes there are still some bugs it’s very early stages but the game is just incredible and it is going to get so much better.

Bit disappointing really, I’ve been a Universe Sandbox user for many years and was excited to try this. There are some great improvements over the legacy version but for some reason in 2023 the collision physics are very poor. If the moon or asteroid crashes in to a planet it just leaves a red mark that fades over time, there is no real way to destroy planets to pieces or see them break up with collisions or gravitational pulls from stronger forces. The best you can do to a planet is scorch it will ‘break off fragments’ and reduce in size in a perfect sphere rather than being fragmented.

I love the simulation and appreciate its still on-going development, I hope to see this level of functionality added in.

It would also be great if you could collide various bodies to form a larger new body, e.g. colliding a water planet with a rocky lava planet, simulating what happens when a small planet hits a gas giant rather than exploding on the surface it ‘asorbs and destroys’

Not played The Ship for around 10-15 years (wow where has the time gone) recently jumped on to have a look to revist the game, still has enjoyable today as it was back then!

Its just like magic!

After waiting so many years, this game has lived up to expectations, it is fun and interactive and I really enjoy the open world map allowing you to visit Hogwarts and its surrounding areas. My only criticism of the game will be the 'lack' of some of the more desired things e.g. moral compass (good / dark wizard), Qudditch, ability to attack or duel all NPCs - they don't even react if you try to blow them up and just continue as if you are not there.

Also the voice dialogue is very limited, so when running around the world you tend to hear the same things over and over again.

Hopefully NPCs will be brought to life in future updates and the shortcomings are addressed and it doesn't end up like another CyberPunk - released incomplete just to meet demand, we've waited long enough for this game and can't wait to see what it evolves in to with community modding also.

Shame the journey started in 5th year! Would have been amazing to start in first year when you first get the letter and had to travel to Diagon Alley, Platform 9 3/4 and ride the Hogwarts express and play through the school years facing different challenges and meaningful character relationships e.g. if you cast crucio on someone, they are still your best friend.

I haven't completed the game yet, been enjoying the exploration aspect so only around 15% through but what happens at the end? Get to 100% and you are still a 5th year? Would be amazing to be able to get jobs and become like an auror and go around protecting Hogwarts and surrounding areas from new random threats and rule breakers.

Wow, amazing. I done a large scale battle 2,500,000 Orcs vs 1,000,000 roman soliders and 500,000 roman archers and it was amazing. Only downside the AI is a little dull (atleast the romans or the orcs were very smart) the orcs circled around the roman front line and attacked from all directions while the archers on the hill above, would not attack as the orcs seemed to be out of range so I think the range of archers is way too short as it was not far at all. Would be good to see objectives being set e.g. team 2 to attack the hill and team 1 to defend.

Amazing game! Looking forward to future development
