Survive the Nights is an Early access Alpha Zombie survival game, Except in this game the zombies are an actual threat just like they should be especially at night and can be rather scary causing a few jump scares to myself, And the devs are very open and on discord 24/7 Talking to the community.

Please keep in mind at the time of writing this that the game Has only just entered Alpha in November 2019 and i'm writing this 29/01/2020

Some game Pros:
• Lots in the world and still more to come.
• Good weapons Variety.
• Challenging zombies (An actual zombie survival game?).
• Very Community driven.
• Lots of Crafting recipes.
• Regular fixes/Updates.
• Seasons are fully implemented.
• PVP and PVE servers.
• You can fortify around 400 or more structures.
• Dosen't require an insane build to run at 60fps, Lots of optimisation so far.
• Electricity system to power structures.
• Mental health system to prevent a Deathmatch scenario.
• Great graphics/map in my opinion.
• RV is great for setting up base in.
• Vehicles run and feel very smooth for such an early stage.
• In-Game events set up by the devs for Christmas.


Some game Cons:
• 1st person only (not a con to me but could be seen as one).
• Very basic gunplay compared to something like PUBG or DayZ.
• Basic Character controller for now.
• Maybe too many zombies for some, But is a zombie survival after all.
• No server files released yet (Con to some, Again not to me).
• Not many house Variants yet.
• Towns are a little small, And don't take advantage of the surrounding areas often.


Notes about the Devs
• On discord non stop answering questions and talking to the community
• Very Small Dev team
• Great support and always keep it real with everyone, No robots.
• Community driven and very open about the development with everyone.
• JB has mastered his own game now and is going Pro I hear.

Overall Opinion on STN
At the time of writing this i believe compared to other survival games that STN in terms of what a Zombie Survival game should be is far ahead of some of the big name games out there already and is definitely Worth a Try.


As the game progresses and Big updates come out i will update my review to reflect those changes better and my opinion on them as such.
