Back when I got Demeo, I liked it quite a bit, but I kept thinking this could be more awesome if it had more characters and the ability to play a whole campaign rather than just a couple of floors in a dungeon. So now, playing Battlemarked, it looks like they have done pretty much exactly what I wanted. And after just an hour of playing, it seems like an excellent way to play DnD campaigns.

It's just another super cheap piece of 💩 game. Graphics look like they were done by a toddler. Controls are abnormal, so not intuitive. And they have no descriptions or hints to figure out how most of the controls actually work. Nor any kind of information about how to use items or carry or put away, ect... And no options to rebind or change any of the controls. Personally, I don't enjoy wasting time just trying to experiment with button presses to see if I can figure out how anything works.

After 2 hours of playing, I'm still following step by step instructions.
Either this is one seriously long gameplay tutorial, or else the main "story" is just a never ending series of instructions...
Either way, I'm not having any fun at all, since I don't get to make any kind of choices.
And I don't have the patience to keep playing to find out if the tutorial ever ends.

An excellent way to just relax and waste some time with friends. And they continue to improve it all the time.

It's just another POS free-to-play grindfest, full of extremely overly complicated selections of characters and skills and unlocks and abilities and weapons and utilities and ammo and multiple types of currencies and points and limited-time ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, etc, etc, etc..

The interface is a complicated nightmare to try and figure out, because of all the complicated time wasting crap to earn and unlock and select. And the actual gameplay isn't even that fun.

There is apparently no freedom or creativity allowed for the player.
It's all just performing linear and predetermined tasks, in order to complete each house.

It's actually kindof sad, because this is a fairly well designed game, and it COULD be a lot of fun. But the problem is that it's programming for controls are a cheap joke.

For one thing, you CAN NOT use keyboard and mouse to control the game. And while it IS true that PC gamers have the ability to use a large variety of gamepads, this is still a PC we are talking about. Meaning that if a game has a complete lack of ability to use keyboard/mouse, the way this one does, then it is considered by most users to be a cheap pathetic console port, and not worth spending any money on.

Then besides not being able to use keyboard/mouse, it also apparently has a lot of bugs and issues with it's implementation of gamepad input. I don't know if it's designed to use either Direct-Input or X-Input, but apparently, judging from posts in the game's discussions page, it only uses one and not the other. To be a WELL BUILT PC game, you need to support BOTH, possibly even with a menu option to manually choose one or the other.

And you ALSO need options for manually choosing to have the game display either XBOX or PS buttons for the in-game prompts. Because on PC, people use gamepad emulators. Which means quite often, they are using a DIFFERENT physical gamepad, from the one that gets reported to the game.

Then the last issue... Again, this the PC platform we are talking about. Meaning there are far more people who want to play this kind of game with their friend ON ANOTHER COMPUTER, instead of trying to use two gamepads on the same machine. So a total lack of any kind of network multiplayer just make this seem even more like a cheap pathetic port.

Watching where your buddy sprays hand sanitizer blobs so that you can turn them into giant explosions with your match gun, is the best way to co-op.
