TLDR: Great game concept, ruined by shameless, blind greed and anti-consumer behavior that define Gaijin.

Game management likes to piss in your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mouth regardless if you're a new or veteran player. Lets see:

- Introducing premiums at top tier so that every monkey with a wallet can just come in and ruin gameplay by either crashing on the runway due to low skill, spewing racial slurs or teamkilling. They don't understand how the game is played or what its even about. The problem isn't the high tier premium, but the fact that they are accessible to every low iq schmuck with money to blow. ATM game win/loss probability is without question determined by how many of those you have on your team vs the enemy team. Team with most idiots loses.

- Premium planes with busted damage models that can just eat missiles and keep flying without problem even after having their model "fixed". Honest mistake or a way of making up for new players lacking any kind of awareness? Hard to tell.

- Planes without flares stuck at battle ratings where they cannot exist without getting spanked by the same premiums (which are, of course, equipped with great missiles). Maybe add a queue for non-missile fighters if the management so strongly believes in historical accuracy.

- Making maps bigger without any purpose other than increasing game time. Especially for planes that are not top tier. It is really fun flying straight for 15 minutes to actually play, right?

- Making the game experience worse by increasing grind without reason. Nobody complained that hard so far, might as well, no? ♥♥♥♥ the players.

- Bots. Farming bots. Many many many farming bots. Really crazy how you can have someone with 1500+ deaths and 3 kills not appear on Gaijin's radar. I guess it doesn't count because the bot flies a premium, so its all good by their "standard".

Whoever the ♥♥♥♥ is in charge of game decisions either doesn't play the game and it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shows or they are malicious enough to be happy to make the playerbase miserable as long as they make money.

The core gameplay of Warthunder is great, and honestly you can't get something quite like it in other games. There are more realistic options, more casual options, but no middle ground fun like this IMO. But this is also the reason why the management at gaijin feels like it can rip you off every single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ chance it gets. Their philosophy seems to be making the game just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ enough so that you will not quit and just good enough to where you might even pay.

Gaijin has zero respect for its playerbase and would rather make the experience worse for a quick buck than grow the game in a healthy manner. Hopefully one day management understands that happy players spend more, myself included. Right now they are going for "buy the busted premium, otherwise your games will be miserable, if you even afford to play because we made your plane 2 times more expensive to repair :) enjoy, you piece of trash, pay up :)".

Glad to be part of the latest reviews. Gaijin, I hope you burn to the ground if you continue treating players like ♥♥♥♥. Don't even care I spent money on the game or put in thousands of hours, at the moment you are nothing more than a greedy shell of a company that barely pretends to care about the players.

UPDATE: Gaijin is making some good changes to the economy. Economy related problems are, in large part, fixed. Ghost missiles, planes without flares at unplayable BRs, planes with damage models ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to high hell and other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that you encounter every match is still here. Still not recommending this to any sane person. The amount of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ still left in the game, which also includes the rot-brained "real shatter" gun damage model, is still here. Oh - what is real shatter you might ask? A simple tool that makes most of the aircraft guns pea shooters, taking the fun out of BRs 1-8, as you have to put 500 bullets in a target before they even feel it. Great add gaijin. Really feels like you play your game. Trashcan vision for the game.
