This game is very polished.
- If you have a tight co-op group definitely give this one a try.
- Difficulty wise it rewards good/precise controls and also lots of teamwork.
- The planner feature is super helpful for coordination and appreciated
- Graphics look beautiful and have lots of character (I'll say it! Trucks look cute).
- Music and sounds effects fits great with theme
- Controls are tight out of the box with the present but also super customizable and tune-able.
- Menus are so immersive and fun.

Wonderful game! I have played it a bunch with 3 players and the variety of challenges doesn't get boring even after finishing about 50+ of the ~60 levels. We pushed upwards of 50 levels to gold and then went back to the beginning after unlocking platinum. After ~20 hours I'd guess my tight crew and I are at about 85% of level unlocked but maybe 70% completed as we strive for at least gold in all levels.

The only downsize is that when playing online you HAVE to use remote play together and thus need a good internet with strong upload speed for streaming to multiple friends.

Good stuff: The game is really fun especially with 3 friends (getting revives late in the game feels pretty epic). It really does one thing and does it well. Run around and shoot massive waves of enemies for 20 mins. Guns feel good and impacts/kills one enemies are well animated. With recent updates the 4 main categories (Assault Rifle/SMG/LMG/Shotgun) really do feel different from each other and offer good variety. This has improved greatly since demo, devs seemed to listen well to feedback on the discord patching the demo(beta?) often.

Not great stuff. Sad to see the mixed reviews but seems like the character progression buffs are indeed a bit on the weak side and the progressively more expensive upgrades feel too punishing. For the sake of longevity and motivation I expect the devs to address this(especially since it seem to be a common sore point). I think trying endless mode over and over may get boring IF the skill point progression is not strengthened. However, the core game play is still really fun and the character progression stuff really doesn't stop from enjoying the game right now. You DO unlock more powerful versions of the 4 weapons, and that does feel like strong progression as the weapon get very beefy in higher tiers(which is good because new enemies types are added in higher difficulties). The higher challenges will indeed add enemies. If you are on the fence just keep an eye for patches/updates. It is weird how the new weapons are basically locked to each challenges. So you really do have 4 weapons, they just get upgraded. I plan to give this more thought and discuss in the discord (which is fairly active).

Sony acting like Automatons and attacking Democracy. Hopefully they correct their ways. Else I'll be researching everything future game purchase henceforth to specifically avoid games under Sony's thumb.

edit: Sony seems to have noticed our reaction.

Early Access Review
This game scratches all the itches! And my words won't do it justice but I'll try. On the surface you are building a factory to eventually build a rocket and send it to space. But at it's core it's like a bunch interconnected puzzles of increasing difficulty as you try to automate your factory. There's always something to do to increase output of the factory as you have to handle mining, smelting, belt networks, power generation and distribution. And also there's good action too as the ever present biters will start to attack your factory more and more as it grows(because they don't like your pollution spewing machines). Thankfully you have quite and arsenal at your disposal to deal with them including guns, automated turrets, rocket launchers, flamethrowers, laser, long range artillery, tanks, and atomic bombs too. You will constantly have something fun to do. But also the game doesn't really rush you. I highly recommend playing this with friends with some voice chat going if you have the chance. Community is awesome and full of geniuses. And the developers are incredibly active and open and also fast at pushing out updates. Try the demo, there's a new one in the works which acts like a mini campaign/tutorial. Not sure if that's the one currently available.

The Factory Must Grow!
