I don't know why I bought this and I remain neutral on my decision to purchase this. If I could rate it mixed I would. Its exactly as described with absolutely nothing to surprise you.

Robbed me of £20 back in the 360 era and even to this day still sucks. The trailer bigs it up to be an amazing parkour class based shooter but the reality is gameplay is just 30FPS Capped multiplayer simulation with bots with the worst AI you've ever seen. There isn't a functional multiplayer feature despite the entire gameplay being competitive team based PVP. This has to have been the biggest cockblock in gaming history on launch and to this day remains one of the biggest steamers on the market. I feel bad for the world design and lore team because the story and character designs are pure art, Its just the rest of the game was an absolute steamer.

!!! LIKELY WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT MODIFYING A FILE ON MODERN CPUS !!!

Great game but I can't really give it a positive review as I had to install a github file and put it in the game files to get it to work. This game refuses to run for a plethora of reasons and my fix apparently also doesnt work for other people. Know the game could be dead in the water upon launch, You have been warned.

Good game though if you get it to work.

Remember playing roller coaster tycoon and theme park inc as a kid and wanting more? This game gives you exactly that. Nothing more, nothing less. I even bought all the DLC. Honestly the creation aspect is insane with the level of detail possible. If you love roller coasters or theme parks this is worth it.

Early Access Review
Amending my entire review because this update (24/12/25) made it good and have a lot of content. AI is for the most part now functional and the game is a real challenge. Definitely a good game. Only downside for me is they took my Mk.23 (Although its still available in the training area) #GiveUsBackThe Mk23 SOCOM USP

Don't get me wrong, It is fun to play the old classic Crash Bandicoot games again. The remasters in these visuals look great and they feel to a degree like playing the old games. I'll go over my points and positives followed by negatives:
- The games: They're fun, faithful remasters of the old games for sure. You get 3 full length crash bandicoot remasters with this package bundle. They are the full games and as far as I can tell, Nothing is missing. (I didnt play them much / played them decades ago though, I could be wrong).
- The mouse input: The game, whilst running for whatever reason repeatedly freezes. There's no obvious way of fixing this other than remapping the controls to not depend on the mouse. This only happens when the game, This game, and ONLY This game is open for me. When I tried seeing if this was an issue on my end, Others have this issue and the people who don't are just blaming the mouse of the users who are. This is absolutely not the case. Something about the game, on some devices, messes with your mouse.
- The soundtrack: Very good HD Remasters of the original songs. Nothing much else to say. Vicarious visions did good on this one.
- The resolution: For me for some reason the game decided to, for whatever reason, Boot the game up in the maximum resolution size. I have a very big gaming monitor but even then it was too big, I had to fumble around blindly with the settings to get it to work and fit my screen. I dont know if its a client issue though, so this should be taken with a pinch of salt.
- Controls: Clunky as hell on mouse and keyboard. This doesnt really affect much (Unless you also have the mouse bug issue and didnt remap the attack and slide buttons that are mapped by default to the mouse). The levels where you play as crash navigating a course doesn't really provide much of a problem with keyboard controls. Where it really starts to kick in though is the Coco levels on Crash Bandicoot 3, As her levels have you ride some sort of vehicle or animal across a fast paced course, navigating around, over or under obstacles. The level where you ride a jetski was particularly a problem with keyboard controls for me.
- Technical issues: The game forces on Vsync with an uneven framerate, as cited before. Also, Enemy hitboxes, as well as obstacle hitboxes is complete jank. The level where you're running from a dinosaur a few times in the first chapter of Crash bandicoot 3 is a prime example of it. The Swamp monsters can shrug off a spin attack because the game claims it didn't come into contact with it, The lava hurdles kill you just before you hit the floor when you made the jump, and the Pterodactyls can grab you without you actually touching them. Overall not very fun to just die to something that shouldn't have killed you. Again citing the Coco jetski level that has made me immeasurably angry hitboxes become a problem there too. Coco can also, for some reason, Drive the jetski through the sandbanks in some areas in a really glitchy looking manner. Its probably an intended feature but they made it look like its not when the jetski plummets to the ocean or goes through the sand.

I'm keeping it and playing it because I like it and got it on sale. For £35 though? Unless you have a controller, or if you really want to play the crash bandicoot games, Sure. But just bear in mind the faults.

I get that its early access but can you even call it that when the game crashes 99% of the times you launch it? Like I'm not getting access to anything.
