This is what AAA shooter games should aim to emulate.

Every class is extremely strong and has major advantages in their respective strengths.

200+ player lobbies feel like real wars; explosions everywhere, death screams around you, bullets flying in every direction.

Squad coordination is extremely rewarding - getting a couple good players behind enemy lines can be devastating for your opponents.

The low TTK can be infuriating if you're not having a good day - but at the end of the day contributes to the mayhem of large battles in this game, which is what it's all about. If you don't have that great of reaction times, use longer range weapons.

I really wanted to enjoy this game, I really did. It has a great graphical style and a backstory to this new village you are building. Character creation is surprisingly fun and there are many options.

The concepts in place in the game are great. Building, storing, crafting, fighting, farming, and assigning your villagers to specific roles works great.

The problems arise with the actual playability. The building mode in the game is very weak and doesn't work half the time. Adding, removing, rotating or undoing parts of your building doesn't work in many conditions, and some items are renamed after a while, meaning that if you had an item in a template it can no longer be built through that template.

General gameplay-wise, it does not feel responsive at all. Clicking on something and waiting 1-2 seconds until it realizes it has been clicked to give you it's options is not fun at all.

All in all, I'd recommend RimWorld to anyone that doesn't mind a bird's-eye-view setup instead of this game.

Wow. Simply amazing.

Superb story-telling.
Amazing graphics/artwork.
Perfectly optimized (played it on a computer with an integrated graphics card).
Very intuitive gameplay and controls.
Perfect level of difficulty on puzzles.
Challenging but rewarding.
Beautiful soundtrack.

Cannot believe I didn't play this earlier. Definitely reccomend.

No lag, no bugs, amazing progression system and challenging bosses. One of the best games to play with friends in my opinion. Solo play is a thing but not as enjoyable.

Always in continuous development! This game is becoming what we had all hoped for. Yes, it is still quite buggy and PC-intensive, even though the latest patches have dealt with some of the issues low-end PCs were having with it. An abundance of servers lets you connect to whatever kind you want, however some countries lack servers altogether (south america has 0 servers).

The game is slow, and the greed to keep all your gear turns players against the idea of PvP. However, if you do risk yourself and go for PvP, experiences can be quite rewarding, and interaction with other players is perhaps the most amazing aspect of this game. Try it for yourself.

This game is the epitome of competitive FPS. If you want a tactical, team-based competitive shooter, this is for you. Perhaps not quite noob-friendly, but worth to learn in the long run. Good servers, good ranking system, fair mechanics.

PS: Watch your wallet.

The new review will be under the old one! :D

AS OF LAUNCH OF NEW RUST (OLD):
In terms of reccomendations, I would say the earlier version of the game was better. I liked the graphics, I like the game mechanics, and I overall had alot of fun in it. The bad side of the game was the hackers. There were alot of them and no punishments, but this got better in the new version. By the time the new version came out I was already bored with the game so I did not play it alot, but outside the obvious framerate drops and the seemingly awful engine I believe the game has a lot of potential in the future. Play it if you'd like, you'll get some fun out of it, either version.

AS OF NOW (August 2015):
The only thing I can say is that 99% of the issues I had with the "new rust" were fixed and/or improved. The devs are working extremely hard to make this game entertaining and although something is always broken after each patch, they tend to fix it soon and so it is not much of a hassle. The graphics are improving weekly, new mechanics are always being added and new items come practically every week as well. The servers are becoming more stable, the FPS is more managable, bugs are getting fixed. This is the time to play the game, as it is great to see it developing. THIS is what I call early access!

This is for the people who used to play Minecraft, Terraria or any other block-type sandblock game and got bored of it. Robocraft is a game where you build your own "bot" of sorts. It can be anything. You can make something that flies. You can make a tank, you can make a hover-tank. All I say is that the more you play the more experience you will get in the game. Saying that ou are not capable of building yourself good bots at the start of the game is completely normal. The game is fun, does not require any real-life money to succeed in, and the time it takes in between tiers makes it enjoyable and challenging. The matchmaking is extremely fast and most bugs in it will be patched soon.

This game is awsome and I suggest you play it.

The game is amazing and accomplishes everything it tried to do to make an MMORPG interactive, story-based and action-based. Although I am not one which enjoys questing, the quests in this game are amazing, and creating a new character to experience the questline again is enjoyable and exciting. One thing I have learnt through experience is that this game is perhaps the opposite of Pay2Win. I did not believe that when I started playing but experience and time in this game are what counts the most. My only reason to stop playing this game was that the end-game storylines and quests are extremely repetitive, and after you own 4 level 60 characters with maxed out epic tier items for PvP and PvE, the game is pretty much done, and you feel that the game is definately over. I reccomend this game to anyone into serious and difficult MMOs, in which you can show your skill in either PvE or PvP. You will be rewarded in either way. I assure at least 200 hours of excellent game-time before any symptoms of boredom towards the game show up. I myself have played over 230 hours of it and finally bored myself over the end-game quests. But don`t take my word for it. Try it yourself. Perhaps you are more of a quester than me.
