Sunless Sea is this oddity that is hard to describe. It has many excellent selling points that, if you like one of them, should make you consider buying this game. Those are :

- Many interesting sub-storylines to be found basically everywhere
- A great exploration element with an excellent atmosphere
- A good ressource management balance, encouraging you to be careful or daring depending on the circumstances, and that allows for different playstyles

And most important of all ; an incredible universe, described by every element of the game. Be it the music, the graphics, the gameplay, the difficulty and danger of the game since you could still die at every turn... Everything combines to make you want to see more, know more, learn more. Not many games can boast that they made me take the wrong decision for my character INTENTIONALLY just because there was no other way to learn more about the game, the universe, and it's story...

I highly recommend Sunless Sea. It does have it's downsides (can be a bit slow at times, can be frustrating when you die "unfairly", and a few others) like any game, but it's definitely worth the price, and the time you invest in it

Writing anything about the story, the gameplay, the details, or even the soundtack, would be spoiling a part of the awesomeness. I love it.

I recommend just playing it.

The Witcher 3 is coming next year, and let me say this : even if it was way worse than this game, it would still be worth the buy!
The Witcher is just an awesome game by itself, and the Director's cut adds a few content that might not be that noticeable but are still quite nice
At this price it is a bargain seeing as you will be glued to it for hours and hours, a must have for any RPG fans!
