A beautiful, thoughtful, piece of art. You can feel the love and care put into this game throughout its entirety. Sakaguchi hasn't lost his touch one bit and I am so excited to see what he brings nest.

Despite some very minor issues which have been fixed with patches - this game is a near masterpiece for me and I suggest it to anyone who loves a classic JRPG.

Falcom writing is back in top form and NISA’s localization is incredible. After the Cold Steel arc this was such a refreshing change of pace. I love Van and I will protect him at all costs.

Battle animations and audio are great. I like the art too. But my god, the writing in this game is so unbelievably bad and immature. The protagonist and other trainers needing to quip about every single thing. It really ruined what could have otherwise been a great game.
