Whilst the rest of the song is an ode to an unreachable beauty, the chorus focuses on the protagonist, his self-doubt and the conscience that he can’t walk away from the way he is.

He chides himself that he has no business being with this “angel.” He’s a creep, a weirdo and doesn’t deserve this precious feather of a woman. And this adds to his degenerate state.

Из строя вышли все, кроме одного солдата.
