unit grouping works correctly unlike in AoE2 Definitive Edition

just trying to launch this game i used to enjoy, and instead it launches some other launcher, software which I DO NOT RECOGNIZE, where did it come from, i do not know

music packs used by other players can be way too loud

looking forward to Reigns: House of the Dragon

Pressing Shift to select multiple groups overrides the groups and mashes units all into one group. AoE2 didn't work this way, it worked much better for years, no reason to change it and it works less well. I also have another specific complaint about AoE2 DE vs 2013 but do not recall it right now, i'll be back to edit this when I remember.

For now though the upgrades do not make Definitive Edition worth purchasing, buy 2013 version instead

The best game I've hated in a while lol

My biggest regret in life is that I have but one Yes vote to cast in favor of this title.

Not bad for $1.25 but it's not as good as the "2010 Edition" offered elsewhere for $6 in my opinion. If you like Apogee, get the bundle; if you are interested in this game, get the "2010 Edition." Not that I wish to "advertise" contrary to the Rules and Guidelines but I feel that such a comparison is essential for an honest review.

In the interest of full disclosure, my review has been solicited strongly by the software creator(s).

That said, Dimmdrive is excellent software. Steam integration is a definite plus, and symlinking, rather than having to copy files into the ramdrive, is very helpful.
