As someone that watched Scott manly when i was younger and couldn't afford a pc capable of running KSP, who then got money and bought a pc and then bought this games predecessor, i love KSP. it makes me feel like a rocket scientist even though its comical and un-serious for the most part its one of the better (more realistic) space flight sims. Far more grounded in reality than the vast majority of games in the same genre. All that being said i was very excited for a sequel with updated graphics and a new engine, it was everything i had been wishing for. and then i bought it. the state it's in today is the exact same as when it released, now in hindsight this seems a whole lot more like a rugpull for a worthless publishing company than a real attempt at a sequel, with the rights to the source code in a grey area and no news on who's bought it, it's safe to assume the Kerbal Space Program IP is effectively dead. We're just waiting for steam to pull the plug on the early access and take it off the steam library...

I love MilSim shooters. I have Arma 2&3 as well as Squad, Insugency, Hell Let Loose, Squad 44 (formerly Post Scriptum) etc. I was very excited for this game to come out, "Improved Graphics" "Enhanced UI" they preached. However these things should've just been a forewarning. Their focus on expanding into console gaming has destroyed the game in ways that are hard to describe. In all the games I have previously listed you will on occasion run across toxic players that would sooner smoke their teammates than make any reasonable effort to actually play the game. This game however since adding PS5 players has people like that in every. single. server. Aside from the fact that it took them YEARS after release to make the loadout system work, i have recently run across a bug that has been around since release day. "No connection to server backend" which makes the game act like i do not even have an internet connection on the very computer I am now making this post with. It's OK when it works. It's boring and lazy compared to the previous releases and honestly, unless it's got a good sale i wouldn't waste your money on it. If you do buy it and run across the same issue as me, I'm sorry but you've been warned, there is NO official fix and the devs have made few efforts to fix it.

The Game while very fun and original has some serious issues. First and most important, the devs abandoned it years ago now which is a damn shame for anyone that enjoyed this game. Secondly, many people including myself are having an issue with the games performance, more specifically its inability to even start for seemingly no reason at all where it started just like any other game before. Some have speculated this being an OS issue, but after spending about 4 hours of my life researching and trying this fix or that i have found its simply a problem with a lack of care for the games longevity from its creators. If you want to try this game its worth it if it will run, otherwise save your money for something better.

Fantastic, but it might be worth to just wait for the sequel next year. Solid game so up to preference.
