My Partner and I love to play this together. I would say as long as you have a little group you can play around with this game has so much potential. IMO this is the easiest battlepass/weeklies/dailies that I have had to do for a game and I feel like I could play a few hours a day and still come back for more. I can not wait for the new area coming in December and seeing what it brings to the wasteland.

Overall catch this game on a good sale and play with friends or a partner. The building can get really in depth the story is pretty simple and easy to follow and there are some perks to logging in daily.

Overall I enjoyed the game. I like to grind and just do mindless stuff. I also really enjoyed building. Unfortunately I was not able to get on, my castle got taken over and I was killed. So I lost everything.. all my materials, my servants, everything. I wish I had time to get on it and play everyday or just in general.. but I don't and I think some of the servers/mechanics can be too punishing for that.

Once I am done being salty about my loss of progress.. I might play again.. but right now. Its a no from me dawg. I just don't have the time. Im only giving this a bad review because I feel they need to clear some of that up. Especially in the PvE servers.

Okay, let me start off by saying I started playing DBD on console back in like 2018-2019. I got roped in by a friend of a friend and was hooked (hehe). Shortly after I was gifted the PC version and have been playing ever since. (I did take like a year break when the game felt stale for me)

The game was challenging and I loved the horror aspect with all the jump scares. There were some pretty decent learning curves in the beginning and overcoming them felt GREAT. The community was a bit different back then, even with the bad apples the game was fun and felt close knit.

Now jump to the present. I still enjoy playing this game but it is VERY different from the beginning. Some great QoL changes for new players and veterans. I do think the devs try hard to balance the game as much as they can but with content creators flocking to this game and the masses playing to "win" and running the metas (killer and survivor alike) it just feels like rinse and repeat for me. I get the thrill of "winning" but I also wanna see mind games, new/crazy builds, memes etc.

Overall.. the game has its ups and downs. It all comes to preference on play style (there is no right or wrong way to play this game). Playing with others can make the game feel great but the community has lost a bit of spark imo.. there rarely feels like a connection between players (killer/survivor) and I miss that. Just like with any online game.. this one can get pretty toxic.. don't let them Grind you down. Have your fun and move on. Just try to remember that each player has a real person behind them.. so don't be an a-hole.

TLDR; The game can be fun/challenging or a pain sometimes but playing it with friends or playing to just be silly can make the game so much better. New players have the best QoL changes they could in the last few years and the game has evolved for sure. Try to get it while its on sale, since there is so much dlc now and it feels crazy trying to catch up with it all. There are plenty of creators that do in depth tuts for killer/survivor and the mechanics of the game in general.

This review turned semi-rant but either way.. thanks for reading <3

I have been playing since the release and although there were some hiccups in the beginning (as with all games) the devs made sure to listen to the community. I love their social media engagement and how open they are to criticism and suggestions.

The cute graphics and characters along with the fun ways to spend your time in the game make it easy to lose track of time and just enjoy yourself. 10/10 one of my favorite ways to relax after a long day.

Thank you for the game!

I bought this game to give myself a break and to try something new. I did not think I would have as much fun as I do with it but its laid back style and cute graphics are great if youre trying to just get away from the norm.
