As much as I love the in-depth game play, and unlimited creativity of Planet coaster, I found that I could spend days on designing one coaster, and while playing I yearn for the simplicity of Rollercoaster Tycoon. Open RCT does good job of modernising RCT, but the graphics do still look a bit dated, great if you want a retro blast.
Therefore, I would wholeheartedly recommend Parkitect. It sits in the sweet spot of not being quite as complex as Planet Coaster but brings nicer graphics and a lot more features to the table. The one I do enjoy the most is the decoration, guests are happier if they are immersed in park atmosphere and the amenities are unseen, so it forces you to put toilets, work paths, and all the staff rooms into custom buildings, you can do this by building them yourself, or downloading one of the 10's of thousands of schematics from the steam workshop. Most of the ride types are included from the RCT, and like its predecessor, they are all based on real life rides, with all the twists, turns, and inversions available.

I am a massive fan of Subnautica, have a fair few hours, and many playthroughs under my belt, so when Below Zero was announced, I pre ordered and patiently waited. The patience paid off and I was able to play a great game. For all the other games using the far to over utilised Early Access method of development, this is how you do it right.

The game works in almost the exact same way, some stuff from the first game still exist, and some do not, but there has been a lot more added to make the experience a little different from before. So if you are expecting a different game that the first, then set another heading, but if you enjoyed the first, and are thirsty for more, this is a great game for you.
