Would be 10x better if it didn't crash around every 3 hours, usually losing my loadout while I reconnect.
Had a random crash during a Matriarch event and couldn't rejoin, I guess it was because the event had ended even though the server still had a few minutes left.
I've lost track of how much gear and loot I've lost because of crashes now.

Overall it was a pretty good DLC and the music was brilliant though I felt some parts of the DLC were a bit rushed and actually finding the rings was pushed aside for other story elements.
I got the achievement for completing the DLC and immediately thought "that's it?" since it didn't feel like an ending, it felt like just another boss fight. I'm surprised there wasn't a gameplay section of getting to the sub. It felt like a very weird place to end the DLC.

The last boss fight definitely needs some balancing. I played through the whole DLC on Local Failure (medium difficulty) and was fine but this one boss felt like it went from 0 to 100. I don't know if it was a bug but, in it's second phase after the platforms fell, it had an attack that was completely unavoidable which was a sudden large combination of multiple difficult to avoid attacks resulting in one big impossible to avoid one.

The grapple was a nice addition but, during the last boss fight, sometimes it wouldn't lock onto specific anchor points even though I was looking directly at them.

Fun, but can have some major hitreg issues at times. I've lost count of the amount of headshots it's decided not to count or to count as body-shots. I've noticed shots sometimes don't count for a moment if I teleport my Spectre and instantly switch to it.

A couple of the maps are pretty poorly designed too, with them either being too complex (making the minimap look crowded and hard to read), not having enough cover in areas or having too much cover elsewhere.

Over the last couple of days I've also noticed a lot of cheaters. Such as people who seem to be able to do a 180 snap turn and instantly headshot a moving target.

I wouldn't recommend in it's current state.

Loads of fun to play and left me wanting a sequel. I would've gladly paid for this. While I have a few issues with a bit of the dialog and some of the story is a little inconsistent in a couple of places, I would give this a solid 9/10.

Overall I'd give it a 4/10. The story feels spotty and rushed as if they made the story around the location rather than thinking of it first.
I also really don't like that they made the cannon ending of the base game, what I call the "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" ending. It's the ending that goes against what becomes one of your main goals as the story reveals to you. I was happy to see Granny show up then she suddenly treats you like a traitor, because the traitor ending, the "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" ending, is now the cannon one. The ending in which you turn your back on your morals, your wife and the people like Granny who tried to help you.
This DLC is full of highly repetitive and very difficult encounters. With the same boss fight being reused twice, midway through the DLC and at the end. I'm not sure if it's just on PC or that I was playing with a controller but the most annoying thing here is that enemies magnetise to you, the base game had this, if I remember correctly, but not to the extreme this DLC does. This led to many cheap deaths. I played on Local Malfunction, medium difficulty, and it was nearly unplayable. In the final boss fight I considered turning it down.
There were also no choices near the end where it felt like there should have been so I assume the next DLC will continue directly from this one. The ending of the DLC feels more or less like a repeat of the one in the base game, you learn what happened to your wife but this time you _essentially_ shrug it off.
I feel that even my review is a mess just trying to understand what's going on with the story, it's all a mess.
I'm not sure how Mundfish managed to make a good story in the base game just to ♥♥♥♥ on it and make it worthless now.

And what was the point of the Goose? I was expecting some answers but...nothing.

I can't recommend it at the moment. The game is still pretty buggy and, while there is a full story, it leaves you with more questions than answers (The current story answers next to no questions). I feel like it should have been delayed until some of the blank areas of the island are filled in and more of the story was laid out.

Should've been held off for longer, the game is in a terrible state.
You know how bad of a state the game is in when the anti-cheat doesn't even launch.
You can play the game without launching it.
