I am a big fan of the first game and I´ve been waiting for This game since I heard about it, but now when I finally played it I was stunned at first by all the amazing graphics and the new building mechanics. But after a few hours of this, you get used to the graphics and realize how ♥♥♥♥ the rest of the game is and how fast you progress. I honestly think this game takes 7-10 hours to complete if you don't ♥♥♥♥ around using the sleds and having to carry 2 logs at a time because for some reason they thought it was a good idea to remove the carts you take logs in so it will take hours to make just a simple base which makes the whole building thing very annoying and it strips away all the fun things with building in this new way. this leads to the main thing why I dislike this game. The story is so blurry and people just get thrown into the story without explanation and then vanish before you can even understand what's happening and you get no explanation of who they are or why they are there. Furthermore, there is almost no connection to the old The Forest, so there is no explanation for the first game ending. And the ending was the single most terrible thing in this game, I can't even imagine an ending that could be worse... You get no enclosure at all and you are just left empty and questioning everything about the game.
In conclusion, I dont think 10 hours of mediocre gameplay and good graphics is worth 30$.
If I knew what I know now about the game I would not have bought it.
But because it is in early access I can't expect endnight to be finished with the game but at least make it playable before releasing it. They seriously just did another cyberpunk just that they didn't even have a full story.
And one of the worst things about this is how endnight hypes us up by showing all these trailers with new cannibals and mutants and everything like that, but we get less in the game than we see in the trailers. And all the cutscenes in the trailers are reused in the game and we don't even get any new ones.

Okay so in conclusion again. This game is not worth buying until they finish it and maybe not even then, guess will see. But at least for now DO NOT BUY THIS until full release.

Played this game again and they have updated it alot. It's still not what i expected but it is alot better and is now a pretty good game. Would kinda recomend.
