As a consequence people who dislike Kingdom Hearts truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the nuances in Roxas' existential quote "Who will I eat icecream with" which itself is a cryptic reference to how his only concept of friendship is a misguided teaching. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Tetsuya Nomura's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Kingdom Hearts. The plot is extremely complex, and without a solid grasp of theoretical fictional cardiology most of the lore and inner workings will go over a typical players head. There's also Sora's happy-go-lucky outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from how innocent children act, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these plot complxities, to realize that they're not just enjoyable - they say something deep about LIFE.
