CS:GO Review
Where do I start!

I'm completely new to PC and of course everybody and their great grandfather told me to get this game, so I did! Seven hours later and the only thing I can say is this game is more addicting than you'd ever imagine.

It shows its age (obviously this game is OLD), but the gunplay combined with endless intense moments is extremely captivating. You'll come across the occasional "hacker", toxic teammate, dumb teammate, and the list goes on, but it doesn't matter. If found fun in nearly every round I've played whether it's from the gameplay itself, the banter between people on the mic, or just trying to improve and disappoint my team less. Haha.

Also, it's FREE so what do you have to lose?! That being said I'd highly recommend giving it a shot, and if you play, hit me up! Seriously, I need friends.

Just kidding...

Or am I... :D

So I just built a PC and started playing Destiny 2, but I have well over a couple thousand hours between the first and second games on console, so I'm just here to type few helpful things for other new (or old) PC players in hopes that somebody takes the time to read them.

First off, the fact Destiny 2 is free to play now which makes it substantially more new player friendly, and highly recommendable. That being said if you haven't played this game, download it, give it a chance, and go from there. It doesn't hurt to try, you know? Many people hate this game, but you may find something(s) you love about it that'll keep you going for hours to come. Be warned though, it's impossible to experience this game in it's full capacity without spending money so you've been given your first warning.

Second, this game was absolutely made to be more "casual" friendly, and that's okay for the most part, but it only goes so far... If you truly want to get the most out of Destiny expect innumerable hours of slow paced progression, grinding (if you're looking for specifics, to put simply), and monotonous repetition. That doesn't mean you'll always be bored, or not get lucky from time to time, or even have a difficult gaming experience, but this is your second warning.

Third, when the new DLCs are released it makes a lot of what you've done up to that point in the game feel lackluster, due to the DLCs typically adding some sort of progression boost in the form of leveling, equipment, etc... This could be more of a personal opinion, but again, you've been warned.

Fourth, this one is mostly positive. It may get hate, but it's an opinion so take it as you will. The gunplay and combat in this game is quite amazing. Mechanically, it excels at what's important, and everything from firing your weapon, movements, ability usage, and much more, will feel extremely fluid. I've always enjoyed how Bungie handles these aspects of their games, and although nothing is perfect, this will most likely be something you really enjoy once you experience it. Here's the negative part... you knew this was coming...right? Anyway, the weapon balancing (PvP modes I'm talking to you, ugh) just seems like it was thrown out the window. This has been an issue with countless weapons since D1, but come on now, you'd think they would have learned by now! Now, I can only imagine how difficult it is to regulate weapon balancing in a game like this, but if you're a developer and you dedicate countless years into your game, shouldn't something like this be a main priority? I don't know... anyway, you've been warned again!

Fifth, the "story"... If you're looking to play this game for a captivating story that'll keep you on the edge of your seat... you'll be disappointed. There's moments where you'll be like "Wow, this is amazing!", but many more moments that are more like "Uh, okay...". Playing with friends does help with this issue! With that said a games story should never require your friends to be more palatable, just my opinion. D1 and D2 have had story issues since they came into existence, and if we see the end of that cycle I'd be surprised. Again, you've been warned.

Overall, (especially since it's free to play) the game is worth a try! If you hate it, put it down. Although, many Destiny players have said they hated the game only to find themselves returning sometime later (including myself!), so what do you have to lose? The game isn't perfect by any means, and trust me when I say it has multiple flaws that can't be overlooked. I could honestly say so much more, but I'll leave this here for now. Maybe someday I'll add more, maybe I wont, but either way if you read all of this thank you, and I hope this helps!
