For an early access game this has great variety in the upgrades, and I really like that you can check previous upgrades in case you forget something. The 1 reroll 1 delete system is great as well, in case you have a build in mind already.

Awesome game, loving every second of it. It's by no means flawless - there's definitely issues with replayability and some jank here and there, but for an early access game it has a STRONG foundation. If the devs simply go through with what they said they'd do in the roadmaps and Q&A's, this could easily become my favorite game of all time. I'm very excited to see where this one goes.

Everything about this game is beautiful. If Steam had a rating system, I'd give this game an 11/10.

Being completely honest, I was never one for Metroidvanias. The feeling of being lost and having to blindly search for... something, whatever it is, never was a fun concept to me. So for a while, I stayed away from this game.
But then, I decided to give this a shot.
And boy was it the best experience I've ever had.
This game is built around a tragic tale of a Kingdom and it's citizens, and as the game progresses, the story and it's past are unraveled to you. Each character has it's own personality and secrets, dreams and desires, all of them make you feel like more than just NPC's, they're people.
The ambient and world is built in an genius way, where backtracking isn't too painful with the tools given, and experience can give you the edge on skipping some of the requirements, allowing you to customize your path to your desire. Every place has multiple ways of being accessed, and all of them are available through different methods and abilities.
The bosses are the main thing for me. All of them were challenging, each one taught me something new. Everything that *feels* unfair always has a way to be dodged, there's always somewhere to improve and do better. Each time you go back, the stronger you are, the smarter you are. And that is a permanent thing in this game.
The soundtrack is incredible, I often find myself listening to it on the background, as filler music, and still feeling immersed even when I'm not playing it. Each boss theme feels carefully planned and orchestrated for each boss, and that's not something that comes easily.
If there's any complaints I'd have with this game, is Pantheons 5, which is a optional experience. A system of checkpoints, even if not frequent, would be appreciated, as most of the pain of playing through P5 is having to go through the same bosses that die in 10 seconds, over and over again, because of the sheer amount of equipment you have.

A fast paced shooter who rewards things that give you a dopamine rush, for EVEN MORE DOPAMINE.

Seriously, this game is really good if you're looking for a challenge but one that won't make you want to quit every two seconds you die. The mechanics are a classic case of "simple to learn, hard to master", and the gameplay is fluid and FAST. Absolutely worth it, and the fun-to-price ratio is off the charts.
