Imagine for a moment that Yakuza games are Doritos, and Dragon Quest games are Tacos. Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the Dorito Locos Tacos from Taco Bell of video games. It combines two separate things that at first glance make you raise an eyebrow, but as you give it a chance and let it reveal its glory to you, you realize that it is actually amazing.

This game is at times outrageous, funny, sad, ponderous, but at no time in the 40 hours I've played so far has it been boring.

If you like Yakuza or Dragon Quest, you owe yourself to check this one out and see if maybe Doritos Locos Tacos are meant for you.

PS: Like any good Yakuza game, this one is stuffed to the gills with side quests, collectibles, mini games, business management, karaoke, and more.
