All the fun of the original You Don't Know Jack game (including the best host, Cookie) with a bunch of extra stuff added in and brought into the modern day. No more huddling around the keyboard to play and over-extending your screwing ability by hitting your friend's buzzer button, all you need to play this game is a computer hooked up to a TV and a bunch of cell phones or tablets.

I may be biased because I know some of the people who developed the game, but I find the game cute, the soundtrack inspiring, and the concept reminds me of my childhood. Nothing better on a cold winter night than to play this game, sip on some hot chocolate, and ponder the mysteries of elven magic.

It's the gamification of learning to play an instrument! While it doesn't teach you how to read tabs or sheet music, Rocksmith 2014 does teach you the basics of playing guitar and bass and will help you learn to play specific songs.

Session mode lets you have a jam session... all alone... but its good practice for when you go to your first real jam session. The tone designer will let you emulate a variety of different amp and effect pedals, allowing you to cheaply experiment with different sounds.
