Dude, just inject this game into my veins.

The art style is a wonderful mix of cartoony,
with a lot of inspiration from things like Jazz Jackrabbit and MS Paint comics.

The Soundtrack is filled with one fantastic song after another,
even the music that never made it into the final game is incredible.

The game may have been heavily inspired by the Wario Land series,
but simply saying it's a Wario Land-like game is a huge disservice
to how the gameplay has evolved over the years of demos.

The best description I can think of is saying it's a mix of 2-D Sonic The Hedgehog,
Wario Land, with some light Metroid elements tossed in,
along with its own unique brand of mechanics
like figuring out how to create and maintain momentum.

It took roughly five years for this game to release,
and throughout those years,
a large amount of concepts and mechanics were put on the chopping block,
and it's can be disappointing to see how so much changed since the original conception.

But things aren't cut and altered for no reason,
what we do have is an incredibly tight and solidly designed game,
that doesn't really have anything I can complain about,
like seriously, it's a 10/10 for me. Bravo, just...Bravo.
