It is just meh

Some side elements were good, i loved the part when we made Ducky happy during the spring festival, felt human.

The music is unmemorable, none really spoke to me or had any impact on me.

The main story is just bad, I'm all for corps being bad cause they are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful, but my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ god it is the most unoriginal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ story in the world.

Oh wow the corp covered up the fact they are awful and killed a person to cover it up again?

If the game tried to tell anything political with it i would have been fine, BUT NO there is nothing. Also the "dramatic" reveal that the guy who helped us is actually terrible guy is such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad twist.

Alex as a character and her power is barely explored, you have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nightmare scene where the game decides to drop most of her past story.

Why?

Why not deal with her past simultaneously with the story instead of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nightmare scene?

Your choices don't matter and i get it since the original game had the same issue but there at least there was some emotional baggage with it or uncertainty for the future.

Here? Nothing.

The final "choice/choices" are underwhelming and it doesn't matter.
Do you forgive a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ person the fact they killed 8 person (And tried to kill another one)?

The game doesn't have any choices, it doesn't matter if the City Council agrees with your or not. Even though most of the choices just gives you a +1 for this invisible meter...

Nothing much i can say, better than Double Exposure but that isn't a praise since an 8 year old kid can write better than that garbage.

It has some nice moments, but the issue that plagues Deck Nine remains

Literally the same issue since True Colors.

Plot is another YOU ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ guessed "Murder" Mystery... Why?
The conclusion of that was enough for one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, but no Deck Nine NEEDS more murder mystery since True Colors and Double Exposure wasn't enough for them i guess...

And in the end most of the guess work didn't matter. (Again btw)
One person gets find out during a minigame which more than likely you could have done without getting any evidence, the other is as ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ obvious as it can be.


The "final" choice is a weird one, no clue what happens if you choose the other option since there isn't a way i suffer through more mediocracy just to check that out but i have a sneaking suspicion of a big ass nothing burger option.


The final cutsceens/memorial/hey look at past games stuff was also weird, their story ended in the OG game putting in a song about how their story "totally" ended isn't going to convince anyone that when the coffers run dry again they just won't do another game about them.


Overall eh, if you can get this for a discount i guess it could worth it otherwise just watch a playthrough.

Play Paladins or overwatch, it's the same experience.
