Good Game

I loved and played many hours of split gate one for a few reasons. Simplicity, I could invite a friend who had never played and they would be on similar playing field as their opponents because they didn't need to unlock the right weapons or the right attachments or classes. All weapons are found in the map and the only difference is skins for people. The maps were medium to large and had great vantage points for running into the action or sniping.

Excluding any issues with servers as that is to be expected in beta, This game massively over complicates a good simple formula. I hate that after playing a couple of matches my mind goes to what is the meta class load out like this is cod black ops all over again lmao. The maps are FAR TOO TIGHT. The maps are so tight and have so many blind turn i found myself not using portals hardly at all do to the fact that using portals would only move me hardly anywhere across these maps.

And not to mention that they changed the grenades so that they don't close portals by default anymore, and you can only place your portal over an enemy portal either after five seconds of it being up or after they have walked through once. meaning if someone portals behind you your only option is to duck and cover like what the heck.

And its going to cost $40? CAN NOT IMAGINE. These kind of PVP experiences are tailored to the over stimulated sweats. The default color scheme is also so neon all the time its hard to look at, had to enable one of the color blind modes just to not get a headache.

They Fixed the graphics error when it was set to ultra, vehicles are fun and the intro is better than the demo. Very good with friends

Used to be one of my favorite games. Now the developers have given up on the game they made and instead completely overhauled it into an among us rip off. Terrible mechanics now and not fun at all. The old game was 1000% better now it's a hot dumpster fire.
