In its current state at time of post, buy it on sale for $15, maybe $20, and its worth it.

Mechanics; 7/10 A bit janky but works decently once you get used to it, chalk good. Get used to using manual climbing in tandem with the default autoclimb because homegirl loves to only move her feet half the time.

Story; 5/10 Aava lowkey sucks as a person. When the story does hit its good, otherwise its mid at best. Feels secondary to the game itself, feels very "this happens and then this happens and then this, etc." instead of "This happed, therefore this happens". Characters are kinda forgettable.

Survival Elements; 7/10 Simple enough to be fun, mixing foods is neat, finding edible stuff to cook is cool.

Gameplay; 3/10 The climbing itself isn't too bad if you use your brain, planning a decent route and preparing rewards you with easier climbs. However the devs decided that throwing bs at you, forcing stupid decisions in cutscenes to cost you resources, and straight up reducing your stats to a minimum was the way to go. Kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ngl, I'd rather fail because of my own shortcomings.

Graphics; 9/10 If you like the art style its a beautiful game, turn around once in a while when climbing because the view is great.

The literal first visual novel kind of thing I've ever tried, gave it a shot since it seemed interesting.

I hope y'all make more of these because it was fantastic. Characters feel like real people and are perfectly likeable/loveable/hateable in their own ways and the references/legally distinct stuff is fun without feeling inorganic. I really appreciate how well the characters' struggles were shown, it feels more genuine/organic than most games/shows/movies where its hyperfocused and/or over-the-top.

I wish I could reset my memories/brain so I could experience it again and again. My only complaint is that it ends, wish I could stay in it forever. If getting Isekai'd is a real thing, I wouldn't mind ending up in Volcaldera Bluffs.

Good show Cavemanon, truly hope ya keep up the good work and can't wait to see what comes next, cheers!

Feels like I'm playing through a very average/mid Netflix or Amazon Prime Original Series version of Dragon Age. Like the theme and various things from the setting/series are around but it lacks most if not all the worldbuilding/flavor. No real build up or process to anything and the gameplay feels like a vague mix of God of War and Hogwarts Legacy with no added seasoning. Just under 6 hours in and narratively I feel no interest/reason to care for any of the characters (including my own) past being useful/plot relevant or familiar.

TLDR; Game ain't bad, just kinda bland. Lacks the interest/intrigue/style of previous games. Characters are forgettable unless familiar or you like their looks/trope they fill. If someone offered me this or a remastered/rebuilt Inquisition, I'd rather pay for Inquisition again.

Basically South Park roguelite with less South Park. With tags like action rpg and action adventure I thought it'd be a bit like their other two games, it is not. Gameplay is crisp and fun, the graphics are as well, just not gonna really get much out of it unless you like doing the same stuff over and over with the same equipment and no real progression.

I get that it's less pricey than the other games and my own fault for not double checking but it's still disappointing.

Looks great, fantastic job on the visuals for the most part. Gameplay is ass. Like many have said, either stupidly easy or ridiculously hard. Got up to CR 5 for difficulty, which my gear exceeds the requirement, and normal enemies, not minibosses or elites, normal enemies will 1-2 shot me anything bigger and its 1 touch and I'm dead. Apart from that, the "skill" mechanics of parrying and evading are a joke. The only reliable thing is the parry, which doesn't even work for most of the things you should be able to. The "evade" or "dodge" in the game has little to no actual i-frames so things still hit you through them, even if you normally would have actually dodged it. On top of that the time all the little things that would play into those skill based actions take is crap, to pull off a parry while fighting its basically hold down the block button and hope the attack or evade animation gets cut short in time, or if evading more than once you end up just going in the original direction of it, so left, back, and right in quick succession just become left, left, left. You'd think with games like Bloodbourne and Dark Souls existing they'd have an idea of how to do it in this game, but it hard falls short. Also, if you wanna play on your own and actually get to high end gear, good luck, starts out easy then around CR 4-5 it just become a sadomasochistic slog of you getting slapped a couple times, dying, and trying again.

I love DnD and actively play and DM, love the high fantasy, monsters, etc. so I got this for the theme and to have a fun time with a DnD based game that WASN'T Baldur's Gate, but not like this. This game looks like a fantastic thing, but it feels like just jumping on the bandwagon with DnD's surge in popularity to try and make a few bucks.
