Honestly, freemium games moving in this direction of a pay for cosmetics model but still releasing enjoyable experiances seems like the future, where the average price of triple A is moving up and up its harder to give those titles a chance.

Where winds meet however delivers a rough (localisation) but great game well worth the litteral zero cost. it looks great runs pretty well and is very enjoyable.

Gameplay wise its if you took an openworld like Genshin impact's gave it the skill system of the moden assassins creeds or tsushima games. and then game it a couple drops of a sekiro like or wukong like moment to moment combat system.

its good, it runs well.

Alot of people seem to think for some reason this is an arkham batman single player game. its not, its a power fantasy looter shooter with evergreen content. if you enjoy those kinds of games (Destiny, Warframe and borderlands) there is a decent chance you will enjoy this.

Its fast, the combat loop is strong, the characters play different enough that it feels deep aswell.
