I want to make one thing clear. I am generally not the biggest fan of roguelikes as a whole.
Roboquest is an exception.

I am a huge fan of movement shooters. Roboquest in particular does a fantastic job of making you feel like you're a fly on the wall that the enemies can't swat once you get the movement down. Couple that with roguelike upgrades for specific parts of your kit, and if you can play around your build, Roboquest lets you feel like a god.

My one complaint is that unlocking things to get the movement down, i.e. the jetpack, grappling hook and pogo stick can kinda be a pain in the ass. But it so worth it.

Early Access Review
This game has changed how I play video games as a whole. It's kind of impressive. I need more games to have a parry.
The way it encourages you to just GO THE ♥♥♥♥ IN all the time is amazing. The way it feels to discover new movement options is amazing. The combat is hard, but not unfair. You will get stonewalled in this game. It will be hard. It will be a skill issue. But when you overcome it all, it makes literally every minute of it worth it.

I just recently P ranked P-2 and have been dipping my toes into speedrunning. Genuinely, with all my heart, I believe this is one of the best games I have ever played. I will be back for more, Hakita.

Alright, so where to begin with this game?

I've been a part of the Rainbow Six: Siege community since Year 1 Season 1, Black Ice. I only got the game on PC in Y1S3, Skull Rain. I've been there for Siege's biggest wins and biggest flops. With this now being my most played game on Steam, I find it time to give my honest thoughts and opinions on the game.

Siege has always been an amazing game, even when I first picked it up and was getting maybe a kill every two or three matches. It has always been fun, even when I wasn't fragging. I always felt like I was doing something to help my team. Siege takes so much to learn but when it all clicks, it clicks really well. It's awesome. Especially if you have four friends to play with. You can just do some stuff that's plain dumb fun or you can sweat and try as hard as you can. That's one of the biggest draws to the game for me. It's never dull, no matter how you play.

Now for my problems. Siege is, as I said, a really hard game. Going long periods without getting kills or feeling like you're not doing anything can lead to a lot of frustration. Sometimes you'll just get furious over a death that seems like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and you'll just quit.

But the game will always be there, waiting for you to come back. With the immense learning curve, there's always room for improvement.

All in all, I love Siege, even if it infuriates me at times. I would give this a solid thumbs up and would love to take the wild ride Mr. Clancy has taken me on again.
