Originally I preferred Vermintide 2 over this, but after clearing the campaign and getting into the higher difficulties I'm starting to prefer this over Vermintide 2 for most play sessions. It's still a L4D-inspired game and hasn't ventured away from the core principles of that. It's great! Highly recommend people to try it out, and I hope they keep adding maps.

After playing 150 hours, I went back to play Path of Exile 1, Last Epoch, and Diablo 4, and despite this being an early access with just half of the content promised by the end of 2025, it is by far the best feeling game. I am constantly thinking about it when I'm not playing it.

This game has a lot of flexibility and an absolute ton of replayability. The item drops are so interesting that you'll end up wanting to make a new character after you get one or two items for a different class. Each class has a lot of different viable builds, and I'd say it probably has more viable builds at the end game than it's competitors path of exile, grim dawn, and Diablo 4. Can't ask for much more from a new game.
