Hello everyone. It has been quite a while but then again it's been a while since we finished a Steam game. I am the James with the GAmes, here with my cohost Berserker Bahamut.

We have spent 27 livestreams to complete this epic. One of the best hidden gems of RPGMaker out there. Though my co host once again seems to have a frog in his throat. Meanwhile I'm the one who's actually sick this time. Getting over a summer flu with a small bit of bronchitis we believe.

A tale of three worlds helped melded by three beings outside the scope of those in the worlds. Siblings yet not. Quarreled and fought. Two wars have since passed. For four of them their ends were then cast. A group that bore a sword of legends name. Though the group had no idea upon which that legend bore in its frame.

My partner here was spoken some opinions. Appreciating the effort put into the world. It's history. It's character development even if they started simple. They grew on us. There was not a single unlikeable person in the cast from the perspective of a player. There were a few fights that caused some consternation but with James to help me keep a level head he helped me get through them. I'm not used to things of this nature, often caught in power fantasies of the likes of doom. But sometimes it is nice to immerse yourself into a world....

Hello everyone it is I the James with the Games, here with my good friend Berserker Bahamut.

And today we hath finally platinumed another title in the collection. A title that was one of the biggest love letters we have ever seen. This game you can feel the passion behind what they made. The balancing isn't bad. The overall gameplay and story are satisfying, and the creature collector aspect really hits home for fans of the series since we're all used ot these sorts of familiar faces.

For this is such a good omage to FF as a whole that it leaves my good friend here speechless. Sure the game is pretty easy, and there's not a whole lot of ways to do a challenge run for this. Since the game's stats especially agility are sort of hard coded per mirage. Thus making later speedier bosses kind of threatening no matter how you setup. Although gravity kind of makes most fights into an innate joke. Irony is we ended up having a game over on both Brandelis II and Brandelis III's final forms. Both mostly due to incredibly bad timing.

Though now the game is done and another will soon begin. I have been the James with the GAmes, and no matter if you are a hero, villain or NPC; I hope when all our games are over I hope to see YOU in heaven one day. Until we meet again~

Well this was something unexpected but whole heartedly fulfilling. This game is short, I completed it 100% in 4 hours, but sometimes you don't need a grand game to feel satisfied. And this game very much does that. Saw this from Haelin playing the game and decided to play it myself. Was not dissapointed.

Though part of my problem is that this game offers little replay value. I've had several games exceed their cost bars at times, but to me replayability (especially with a friend) is a high selling point so even though I recommend this title it's only for a first playthrough.

This is Berserker Bahamut and James again this time for a review of FF9. Out of every single Final Fantasy , this in terms of overall gameplay, story, writing, and character design was the absolute peak of the series in my eyes. In fact, according to James, it is tied for the second best final fantasy game ever made right behind the original.

Yes this game was overall very well written. But to me outside of Ozma who was FAR too optimized for how the game's mechanics ran, most of the game, especially the early game felt far too simple and easy. I wish there was a bit of a rebalance done to increase it a little for more seasoned RPG fans but not bringing it up to Ozma's level of insanity. Cause the first third of the game (honestly even half, I'd say to the first Xorn & Thorn fight) you have very little in regards to actual choices you can do in most fights. But that isn't a bad thing, and most enemies and bosses unless you are going for dumb strategies don't put up a ton of fight unless you are severely under levelled.

Hello world, it's been a while. It is I James with the Games, and I've brought along a partner this time.

This is Berserker Bahamut speaking in this following line of work. To be quite honest, a majority of the game actually seemed tough, but fair. THEN THE BOAT SECTION HAPPENED.

I honestly couldn't agree more. The boat section in the sky, especially in multiplayer just straight up doesn't function properly. Cause the camera is locked onto each player 1, and the damage from the lightning strikes could easily kill you in 3 shots.

Then of course there's the various enemies plus the platforming along the way while also dealing with staying on the boat.

Oh right, the boat's hitbox ends one character length from the front of the dang boat. Making it very easy to just die by walking too far forward. Not to mention the minotaur who does SO MUCH CONTACT DAMAGE!

Even Billy Mays' flex tape couldn't fix that damage.

Oh also the dragon boss at the end, this is honestly the first 'real' boss where there's no real way to regain health before it. Every other boss either has a save point that lets you die, which fully restores your health, OR there's a section you can actively farm the room before the boss. None o that luck here.

So even though this game showed promise up to that point. We have to unequivocably give this a thumbs down. I've played bad and unfinished metroidvanias before. But the bullet hell aspect of this really did not paint a good impression. Though this won't be seen by many due to no longer being available for purchase on STeam. That is all for now. Wait I didn't review this? I DID NOT REVIEW THIS?!?!!?

Well this is awkward....

I played this MONTHS ago. I remember enjoying it, but a few specific things kind of annoyed me over it, particularly the difficulty of the 'corruption' final boss, and the cop out during the good ending final boss which made me think I was getting the neutral ending... again.

I replayed this on stream 4 seperate times because I honestly thought I screwed something up. The combat may be fluid and it doesn't feel like the system is particularly punishing... most of the time. I enjoyed a good 95% of my time with this game, but the other 5% of the time kind of soured my taste on it quite a bit. But I would still recommend this quite a bit... though my memory is a bit shoddy.

Ahh what the golf, you were short, you were punny, and I enjoyed everything about you except for 100% it. Cause my word a couple of the levels here (primarily the dang hats!) took me quite some time. Not as much time as many rpgs, but I still would entirely recommend this to anyone whilst on sale.

I recently livestreamed this, and will be continuing livestreaming more games over the years, so drop on by, hope to see you there.

This game I did love, I actually really enjoyed it, and did a livestream of the whole thing a few months ago. My problem is that even though I did enjoy the visuals and the gameplay something just felt... off about the whole experience.

I do not play very many fps games. So this is different for me. Most of my experience comes from Metroid Prime series, which I love to death. But I think part of it is that I think my PC its self does not read the right stick on my controllers properly. Which made the camera an absolutely pain for me to use. It didn't help that the lock on feature was pretty finicky all things considered. This also made strafing INNATELY difficult. So the Kapyena fights that ocurred later in the game were rather consistently difficult for me.

The platforming controls I found pretty good, but was often deceptive early on. I consistently had jumps where I just BARELY missed the platform. By like a foot which was far enough the guy couldn't grab onto the edge. I understand the jump stabilizers helped mitigate fall damage but this is also the ONLY game I've ever played with fall damage where the damage negate happens right before you LAND rather than when you JUMP, IE ground pounding in 3D mario games.

IE I wish I could give this a slight thumbs up than a full thumbs up since this to me is a solid 6.5/10 game. Not spectacular, not mediocre, not absolute trash. But it would fall near the upper portion of the second quartile imho.

But hey this is my first written review in over what 3 bloody years? Hope to see some of you in stream. Because no matter if you are a hero, villain, or NPC; I hope when all our games are over, I hope to see YOU in heaven one day~

... I hate the stupid allow comments button on these things. But anyways...
I got this yesterday, and sure this game is fun, but some of the mechanics are bugged. If the developer gets on it and fixes things I will change my mind.

But first is that the metal/second number is bugged it shows you obtain around 10% of what you are actually earning. It says right now I'm earning 24.2 mil metal/sec. I'm actually earning around 225 mil metal/sec I timed it.

The second is that at current the multipliers DO NOT WORK. The temporary multipliers that spawn on the field right now currently do nothing. Sure it changes what it SAYS you are earning in the top of the screen by either 22 or 484 but how much you earn per second is THE EXACT SAME. I should be earning around 70 bil metal/sec with a 484 multiplier, but I don't. In fact the only thing it does seem to effect is the metal from clicking. Since THAT sure is increased.

Third is that purchasing upgrades seems bugged. The YIELDS work properly, but not the upgrades. I don't even know exactly how to word this it is THAT weird. I'm guessing a way to describe it is that there needs to be a better description of what 'base income' and 'total production'. Since based on how things are worded, it sounds like you should get 100% of your total production, but you don't. I don't really understand what the game's logic is.

Fourth and finally, and this is more so a problem due to the first 2 things is that once you reach around mission 6 things become abyssmally slow. This is due to the fact that it takes so long to earn any amount of income. The most effective strategy right now is to just sit and wait and upgrade the 'all metal yields' one at a time. Since each upgrade after like 10 gives a 60% increase to your total production.

That is all.

Holy cow.... Holy cow. Words.... Words fail me on such a spectacular level right now. This game. This game has so much character put into it. I am not ashamed to say part of the ending even brought me to tears. This creator has so much FEELS put into the game. This is now by and far the highest bar any rpg has set in terms of an engaging story to me. By a substantial margin.

That and not only is the story good but there are several other pluses as well:
Out of your 8 main characters only 1 is from default RPG maker assets (as far as I'm aware) but even then that character I believe they designed custom facial animations for them.
A vast majority of the enemies are NOT from default rpg maker assets
There's quite a bit of original music as well
There are several unique assets put into the game such as the derringers and domes. Sure the 3D cutscenes look clunky but I feel they add charm.
There's a sliding difficulty scale you can adjust which I will say was helpful for me since otherwise I'd never have been able to complete this. A lot of the bosses are brutal on normal difficulty later on unless you grind the shards in your gear.

Overall this is by far a 10/10 game. I would highly suggest it to anyone. I don't know how much more I can praise about this game.
