Not worth the asking price.

Firstly, it's way too short. A lot of my game time was looking for a clue that was invisible due to a bug.
The ending is abrupt and non-satisfying. Can't say I recommend it.

If you haven't played HL2 yet, you should. Even though I personally prefer open world games HL2 is great in all way, from the weapons, the very intelligent leveldesign to how the story unfolds. The only thing to complain about is graphics, but that's what you get for playing a game years after its relesase.

I can totally see why people are excited about HL3
