Well there goes that weekend.
It is excellent.
I've beaten the base floor with every character now, after 23 thoughtful hours.
Haven't encountered a single bug.
Performance is great.
The artwork, animations and lore are just magnificent.
I love the new cards, characters and playstyles.
I loooove some of the new enemies
Purists may find that they're less obnoxious. Personally, I prefer it. I haven't met anything like book of stabbing yet, or byrds, or writhing mass - but I'm yet to play ascension.
It doesn't feel particularly out of balance in any major ways.
A must buy.

Yeah nah it's great. Really great. I only ever buy games in the Steam sale and I don't regret one second of this purchase. Get all your friends involved - there's gameplay for everyone.
