When it's not a walking simulator, it is often a rewarding milsim experience. It offers a large variety of weapons, vehicles, and on top of that, it has great mod support. Proximity voice chat also tends to make a game better so there's that.

As a longtime fan of Borderlands, I was on the fence about getting this game because of the mixed reviews I've been seeing. I decided to get it on the off chance that I'd like the game despite the reviews.

However, I was thoroughly disappointed when I booted the game up just to receive a nearly unplayable amount of frames. I have a 2080 super and a cpu that compliments it's performance, yet I can't get more than ~50 fps on all the lowest settings. Additionally, the game crashed twice in the small time frame I played it.

I have since refunded it. I hope the devs can make the game playable, the spec requirements are absolutely atrocious and heavy optimization is needed to make this game bounce back at all.

It's flying car soccer, very epic.

In all seriousness, it's fun to play, and satisfying (but difficult) to master mechanics regarding aerial shots and whatnot.

Microtransactions are completely avoidable and aren't a bother. Go whine about other games that have massive pay walls. Story is interesting, not considered canon, but still compelling. Gameplay is interactive and somewhat challenging at times.

- Combat makes you feel powerful, yet at times enemies can put you in your place

- Interactive system revolving around Sauron's army of Uruks.

- Decent graphics

- Currently cheap in price
