A great spiritual cousin to Super Hexagon and Open Hexagon.

Do not think you will be comfortable 100%ing this game because you've completed both aforementioned titles, this one comes with a twist!

You better get your brain ready, because HEPTAGON will love to mess with controls - by inverting them, to be more precise.

If that wasn't enough, you will also have to deal with a new POV, locking you in a tunnel vision where you have to avoid patterns coming directly in front of you.

This game has its flaws and it does oppose a few bugs here and there, but my experience with it is still far more positive than negative.

A nice, minimalistic reflex-based game with simple inputs that will make you remember how long a single minute can actually be.

Difficulty levels are well balanced.

Can make for a lot of fun for less than a euro.

Shadow of Chornobyl... where do I start?

Before reading this, please understand that I've been a die hard fan of this game since 2009. I've translated heavy mods, cosplayed as a Mercenary, been part of the very first people to turn crazy after the announcement of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, never looked at a single guide for any game...
you got it.

Now, for the review:

Enhanced edition? Really? Okay, I guess your components do play a heavy part in how "enhanced" this really is... but all I'm getting on my laptop is an ugly blur, different voice lines, new bugs, a new money... and some crucial details that are now gone.

Okay, okay, I get it. There's a war going on. But I must not be the only person in this community to play the game for its authenticity, right? For the actual details you can find in this game, for the genuine recreation of the exclusion zone.
This is basically gone.

I don't want to make this too political, but I feel like the game lost its touch with this new edition.

On a side note, I feel like the gameplay is way more janky than it used to be. Splash damage with shotguns is really something to behold, and most enemies really feel like bullet sponges.

I'm still going to finish the game I currently have ongoing, but will always come back to the original game after it.

If you're reading this and are new to the adventure, play the original trilogy. Different graphisms, but different symbolism and vibe. Don't make up your mind on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. as a whole with this game.

A nice game to spend some time on if you're an adept of reflex demanding gameplay.
Didn't feel extremely hard, but may be taxing if this is the first time you encounter a gameplay like this one. It is quite original and finds surprising ways to trick you or increase the difficulty in forms you wouldn't expect.
For those who came for a Super Hexagon or an Open Hexagon like, the idea is there but executed much differenty.

Definitely worth its price, the OST is also nice.

The only downside worth noting on my end comes from the performances.
It was running very good on my desktop, but not as much on my laptop.
Because of this, both the chrono AND the walls would slow down drastically.

Closing and opening the game back fixed the problem here.
I feel like this is worth mentioning, as it would be easy to exploit for anyone wanting a free spot on the leaderboards.

Very nice game. Good to play if you're bored or if you wanna test out your attention span.
The 1 hour achievement is a nice challenge, too.

It's quite easy to get overwhelmed over time, so stay focused!

Hey, beta-tester here !

It is with great pleasure that I am happy to tell you that after years of a difficult situation, Open Hexagon is now back on track and more alive than ever.
This steam early-access is only the first step and more things will be added to the game over time.

If you are coming from the Open Hexagon Discord, Super Hexagon, or stumbled upon this game by pure luck, welcome !
Get ready to face a great challenge and never forget: Spin to win is the only rule!

If you enjoy living on the edge and feeling your heartrate increase while bracing for impact waiting for anything to appear on your screen, then this game is definitely for you.

Not only is it free, it also has excellent soundtracks and a minimalistic enough gameplay that manages to add a 'drunk' version on top of it, randomly reversing your controls.

A more than correct challenge for the adrenaline-junky gamers. Definitely not for the faint of heart!
