Icarus offers one of the most immersive open world survival experiences I’ve played in a long while. The scale and variety of its biomes—from dense forests to scorching deserts and frozen tundras—make exploration feel endlessly rewarding. Every environment is beautifully crafted, and venturing further into the wilderness always brings new challenges, resources, and surprises.

What sets Icarus apart is how alive its world feels. Weather systems, wildlife behavior, and environmental hazards constantly keep you on your toes, making survival more than just a checklist—it’s an adventure. Whether you’re building a base tucked into the mountains or roaming vast plains with friends, the freedom to carve your own path makes each drop unique.

If you love open world games that combine exploration, survival, and stunning visuals, Icarus is a must‑play. It’s a world that begs to be discovered, and every journey feels like a story worth telling.

This game is a roller coaster of emotions and I wanted to experience all of the game before leaving a review which to be honest in the first few hours was going to be very negative however after finally completing the story mode lets get straight into this:

“Freestyle Ice Skater” is a game that captures the essence of freestyle ice skating. It’s a thrilling ride that takes you through the highs and lows of mastering the art of Freestyle ice skating.

The game starts off with a simple premise - join a local group of freestyle ice skaters and beat the rival team. But don’t be fooled by its simplicity. The game is packed with challenging levels that require precision, quick reflexes, and a keen understanding of the game mechanics.

The story mode is where the game truly shines. Each level presents a new challenge, a new trick to master, or a puzzle to solve. The controls are mapped to the arrow keys along with key press combos, which adds a layer of complexity to the game.

There are times when the game can be frustrating. The difficulty curve is extremely steep and there is 0% room for error, there are many moments when you might feel like giving up and destroying your computer haha. But it’s in these moments of frustration where “Freestyle Ice Skater” excels. It pushes you to try harder, to get better, and to overcome the challenges. And when you finally nail that tricky combo or solve that complex cave puzzle, the sense of accomplishment is overwhelming.

“Freestyle Ice Skater” is not all about the challenges. The game also has a fun side. The free skate mode allows you to explore the maps and practice your tricks without any pressure. The fish game mode which we call (Bulldog in the UK) adds a fun twist to the game play, turning the game into a high-speed chase, the nostalgia this brought me from when I was a young kid playing this on our Friday night discos was truly wholesome.

The graphics further enhance the gaming experience, and the real and fictional locations are beautifully rendered, and the sound effects add a layer of immersion to the game.

In conclusion, although “Freestyle Ice Skater” has a very linear story mode meaning you cant progress with out doing a certain level part first it is a game that will test your skills and patience, it’s also a game that rewards perseverance and mastery. It’s a game that offers a good blend of challenge and fun, making it a must-play for any freestyle skating enthusiast. So strap on your skates and get ready for an unforgettable ice skating adventure! ⛸️

RimWorld is a unique blend of survival, simulation, and strategy game that offers an immersive gaming experience. You establish a colony on a remote planet, which provides a sense of adventure and exploration. The game is driven by an intelligent AI storyteller, which ensures that no two playthroughs are the same, adding a layer of unpredictability and excitement.

What makes RimWorld truly fun is its deep mechanics. You can build structures, benches, weapons, and more, which gives a sense of accomplishment and progression. The game also has a complex social system, where your colonists interact with each other, forming relationships, rivalries, and even getting into fights. This adds a layer of depth and realism to the game, making your colonists feel more like real people than just game characters.

RimWorld is built on failure, where the unexpected is the norm, and every decision can lead to dramatic consequences. This creates a sense of tension and urgency, making every decision matter and every victory feel earned. The game’s difficulty can be adjusted to suit your playstyle, ensuring that it remains challenging and engaging no matter your skill level.

Overall, RimWorld offers a unique, engaging, and fun gaming experience that is a must-play for fans of strategy, simulation, or survival games. Its rich mechanics, dynamic storytelling, and deep social system make it a game that you can play for hours on end, always discovering something new and exciting.

Good game, fun to play co-op with a friend.
Can get a little confusing when first starting out but you get the hang of things after a while like most games.
Best part is definitely when you finish your first Raft set sail for the seas :D

First battle Royale I've actually played for more then 5 mins and really enjoyed, gives me a retro feel with the almost top down run around play style.
Its great with friends had no real issues, the lobby queues are quick and lets not forget the soundtracks are awesome along with dancing crabs :)

Played about an hour of this game and well the title say it all not only is the game hard its super frustrating. Constantly slipping off the platforms just makes you want to rage quit every time, I really do try with these games but I've got no patience left for them lol if you would like a challenge then this game is for you and if like me its best you stay away to avoid stress haha.

I have been playing this game since about a month after it was released on steam, at first I was like what's all this fuss about ARK but after a few hours of running around being eaten by dilos and raptors I started to take a liking to it.

Once you get your starter base (usually 1x1 thatch hut) your imagination starts to run wild and you 1x1 hut soon turns into a fortress, the building mechanics could be a little cleaner but work just fine and can be amazed at some of the builds you can find online.

Taming dinos along the way is a must and you'll soon have yourself an army of dinos at your disposal from small ride able dinos to bigger fearsome ones and even flying dinos to travel the ARK world by sky.

If you like dinosaurs, like building and like survival games then ARK is worth a try.....

Fun and exciting game to play either solo or even better with your mates. Used to play this on the Xbox 360 and loved it then too.

The beginning intro had me at the start, the story telling is just funny af!

Race to the end of each level whilst collecting gems and killing/voiding enemies, either toss your team mate across the gap to reach the other side or punch them into the water for a laugh.

10/10 Awesome game

With nearly 2k hrs in game spread over 5 months out of the year since release I can say its been highly addicting. With so much to do from farming your crop to building your village you really do get a dynamic gameplay experience and if your into medieval themed combat, swords shields etc then you will like this game.
