Good game. Mix of strategy and luck- plays excellently. If you don't like the achievement-based progression featured in titles like The Binding of Isaac, there's an option in profiles that allowed you to unlock all cards (at the cost of achievements- obviously.) Addicting, difficult, and surprisingly punishing. Decks allow for some interesting perks like extra hands, draws, or even a deck with no face cards. I'd recommend the green deck as soon as you can get it. Stakes allow for an even greater challenge- presenting you with various restrictions if you want EVEN MORE difficulty. Unsure about joker challenges. More research required.

They gimped the game. A few years ago, night time worked differently. People weren't anonymous and it required an actual brain to succeed as an infected. This is a far cry from the game I knew a while back. Besides that, there were intermediary areas where you had the possibility of dying, and it made the areas feel real. That's gone too. All it took was a few bad changes to core mechanics, and I no longer see the merit to this game. Uninstalling.

Synopsis: SCP Secret Laboratory (AKA - SCP:SL) is a free-to-play horror survival game that puts you and your teammates up against various SCPs from the fictional SCP Foundation's labs. Some SCPs include: Peanut, Shy Guy, Plague Doctor, Computer, and Larry.

Objectives: The objectives in SCP:SL vary by server, but are usually divided into 6 classes:

1. D-Class: As a D-Class, you must escape the Laboratory via keycard or a gun. Your enemies are everyone except for Chaos Insurgency. In rare situations, SCPs will team with you. In not-so-rare situations, you'll end up getting shot by a Scientist, MTF, another D-Class, or a Facility Guard.

2. Scientist: As a scientist, you must escape the Laboratory via upgraded keycard or gun. In some situations, you'll spawn with a gun and will be able to keep the D-Class hostage... that being until you get shot by a D-Class or Chaos Insurgency. You're an enemy of the D-Class, SCPs, and Chaos Insurgency.

3. SCP: SCPs have various roles, but they all share one main goal: slaughter everyone. (except for neutral Chaos Insurgency) As an SCP, you are neutral to Chaos Insurgency and hostile towards everyone else. Don't help D-Class, as you will NOT win if you do decide to help them.

4. Facility Guard: Exterminate all SCPs and D-Class. You may be able to take willing D-Class as prisoners and bring them to the exit, as they will count as Scientist escorts. You're an enemy of Chaos Insurgency, SCPs, and D-Class.

5. MTF: MTF share the same goals as Facility Guards, but they are higher ranked military officials. Listen when your Commander has something to say unless he's a complete brainlet.

6. Chaos Insurgency: Chaos Insurgency are exactly what they promise to be: Chaotic. As an agent of Chaos, you must kill all MTF, Scientists, and Facility Guards. Rescue the D-Class and escort them to win. You aren't obligated to kill SCPs, so don't. SCPs are your most questionably trustable ally, so keep them by your side.

Opinion Segment: SCP:SL is an example of a well done survival-horror game. If you're looking for some spooks or just to mess around and team with everyone, then this game is for you. The servers have acceptable quality, and for people who have a verified steam account, you are able to join 50 player servers.

Conclusion: SCP:SL is a great game, go play it, it's free. I suggest playing on official Northwood servers or 50 player servers. Make sure to leave any questions in the comments, and don't forget to critique my review!
