I have spent far too much time in this game building infrastructure. I regret nothing.

Probably one of the best modern shooters out there.

As a 17th century admiral, I can't recommend this game enough. If you're looking for some explosive naval action, you found your game. There's not much more satisfying than landing a three man skill with a well placed cannon shot or arriving in the nick of time to save your ally during a grapple. On the topic of grapples, melee does need some work, but it is by no means bad. Also, as a teambased game, it does suffer from the double edged sword of sometimes having toxic players. However, these guys never really last long on teams as they either quickly face an admin with banning powers or the crew of the ship kicking them. Personally, I find that other players have never really stopped me from having fun in this game anyway so I don't mind. If you are new to the game I highly recommend joining the discords of various servers for help. Most elite players in this game are more than happy to teach you if you ask nicely.

Pros:
- Great naval combat
- Melee combat is fun (but a bit broken still)
- Generally nice community

Cons
- Tutorial is still a WIP
- Occasional toxic players
- Can be quite buggy at times (depends on the every update)
