Ugly protagonist. Beautiful game.
The fluid stealth gameplay is smoother than a greased goblin.
Styx himself has more charisma than a dozen generic AAA heroes combined.
Absolute kino of a plot.

Damn this is a good game.

Around 15 years ago, when I was playing WC3, Legion TD was my most favorite custom map. I honestly don't know why I waited so long to finally try Legion TD 2. It surely does justice to the original.

The game perfectly preserves and conveys the same gameplay flow that was present back in the day, but with a much-needed modern polish. It feels fresh, yet familiar.

On top of that, the game has a truly loyal community, constant patches, and active balance fixes. The devs actually care.

So yeah, the game is truly amazing. If you love TDs, Auto Battlers, or just competitive and strategic games, you really should give this a try.

Early Access Review
Reading the negative reviews for this game is a trip. It’s usually either:

"I had one bad experience with my party, so the game is bad."

"This game is great, but it lacks [insert small niche feature here], so 0/10."

Ignore the noise.

The mechanics here are perfect. This is the game I’ve been dreaming about for years: no unnecessary fluff, no "daily chore" checklists, just a pure dungeon experience. It gets exactly what makes cooperative play fun and strips away the nonsense that usually bogs the genre down.

Yes, it’s fresh. Yes, it’s early. But even in its current state, it is extremely fun. Very often when people talk about "potential" they mean "the game sucks now but might be good in a year". Not here. Fellowship is a blast right now, and the potential for where it can go from here is staggering.

This is a project truly worth supporting. If you’ve been looking for a reason to gather the squad and actually enjoy a dungeon – this is it.

This developer is doing something special here. I really hope this game has the bright future it deserves.

How do you improve on a masterpiece? You let the same passionate developers add more to it.
At this point, Eremite Games has my complete trust. The sheer quality of their work, combined with their incredible communication and respect for the playerbase, sets a standard for the entire industry.
Buying this DLC felt less like a transaction and more like a way to support a team that truly deserves it. The content itself is, unsurprisingly, fantastic. Thank you, Eremite!

Stuck in Time presents a genuinely original idea and is quite a good game.

Regarding the Loop Hero comparisons and name change: while there might be a slight resemblance in art style for some, the gameplay here is distinctly different. It's really its own experience, and framing it otherwise feels inaccurate and unfair.

Gameplay-wise, this one is an exploration-focused Idler with interesting twists. It does a nice job pulling you into its world and letting you uncover the story gradually. It's also very completable, and getting all the achievements provides a good sense of accomplishment.

If you're looking for something unique in the idle/exploration space, Stuck in Time is worth considering.

Wheelborn is a charming solo dev project — and it's completely free. It has a distinctive art style, runs well, and just rolling around as the little car-folk feels smooth and satisfying.

Exploring the world is genuinely fun: it's compact, but filled with secrets, some of which are pretty original and significant. There's just enough weird little lore fragments scattered around to keep you curious without drowning you in walls of text. Also, getting all the achievements doesn't require dedicating your life to it, which is nice.

If you like vibey exploration games, or just want something chill that clearly had a lot of love put into it, definitely give Wheelborn a spin.

Unforgettable World, Unbelievably Good Writing
I came for the cool retro vibes, but stayed absolutely glued because the writing in Dread Delusion is on another level. Seriously, I'm struggling to find adequate words to praise it, because it's that good – intelligent, evocative, and perhaps some of the best I've encountered in gaming. The sheer quality of the narrative and world-building, woven into every interaction and discovery, is worth the asking price all by itself.

This phenomenal writing breathes life into a bizarre, captivating, sometimes grotesque, always fascinating reality. The whole artistic design drips with a unique, surreal style, creating an expressive atmosphere – thick, dreamlike, and haunting – that most modern games just can't replicate. It feels handcrafted and visionary.

Diving into its fleshy, fungal corners feels like genuinely unearthing lost, cryptic knowledge. Every discovery feels earned and meaningful, pulling you deeper into its wonderfully weird embrace. What's particularly clever is how the game fundamentally shifts gears partway through; gaining access to wider travel radically expands the scope and rhythm of exploration, making the world feel even bigger and more mysterious without feeling jarring. It’s brilliantly paced.

On the gameplay side, while spellcasting feels distinct and satisfying, other combat elements like melee, ranged, and stealth are more functional than deep. They serve their purpose but can feel fairly basic compared to the game's towering strengths in atmosphere and narrative. Honestly, it’s a minor point – the real magic here is getting utterly lost in this incredible setting and story.

Dread Delusion is a rare gem. If you value exceptional writing, a world that defies convention, rich atmosphere, and exploration that truly rewards curiosity, this comes very highly recommended. An unforgettable journey.

The Spiral Scouts is definitely its own thing – a quirky puzzle adventure. The puzzles are genuinely clever – some well-designed head-scratchers that feel good to solve. The art style has a certainly charming, hand-crafted feel. The music fits the weird vibe well enough.

And then there's the
Outstanding Artistic Writing and Exceptional Narrative Design
By which I mean: it's not just bad, it's a relentless firehose of juvenile vulgarity and pure cringe. Think middle school locker room "jokes" written by someone trying way too hard to be edgy. Every other line feels designed purely to shock with how pointlessly trashy it is. It's... aggressively terrible.

And yet... it's kind of brilliant? Alright, the developers clearly meant for it to be this relentlessly foul. Which is certainly a bold choice to commit to, you have to give them that.

Come for the truly excellent game hiding underneath, the core puzzle-solving and exploration are solid. Stay, morbidly fascinated, by the most uniquely terrible, vulgar writing you'll encounter. It’s an experience, alright.

Requires high tolerance for cringe. You've been warned.

(Seriously, great puzzles tho.)

The game might be ok, but the developer openly mocks and despises his audience. Sooo... no.
