Not very far into the game (at the big sanctuary city built into the wall) but so far I'm really happy with it! I played a lot of the demo and I think the team really delivered on what kind of game I was hoping for after playing it. The atmosphere is great, the climbing mechanics are well done (even if it can be a little jank at times), and there's so much to explore! I also think the game finds a good balance between difficulty and enjoyment, where it demands your attention but doesn't punish you too hard when you fall. I couldn't imagine doing this on free solo difficulty though thats crazy

Superb demo and makes me very excited for the full game, game play and atmosphere are both on point

While there are issues and bugs (especially regarding performance), for an early access game it shows incredible promise. The wing creation is downright amazing and creating planes is way better in KSP 2 than the original KSP. I would like to see them add wing sections similar to the old game as well, because while the new system is great it would be handy to put control surfaces wherever you want and have a variety of basic symmetrical airfoils at your disposal. But I'm more than happy with the new way.

I'm not much of a rocket guy, but after putting some stuff into orbit it seems pretty fine. I would like to be able to make maneuvers while paused and the wobblyness of taller rockets and lack of autostrut is a bit of a pain. Also it doesn't seem like you can see your communications network like in the old game. Space is beautiful though I'll give it that.

Overall, I have no doubt that in the coming months and years KSP 2 will become a masterpiece, as of right now if you have money to spend and a pretty decent computer KSP 2 is definitely worth the cost, but I wouldn't blame anyone if they wanted to wait for KSP 2 to become a more fleshed out product.

In short, if god needed a game to test out his new wild ideas for a new solar system he'd probobly make his own game. but this is as good as us mortals will get to that game.
