It's aight as long as you are willing to wrangle around the wonky control.

Its pretty average on all of its aspect except for the control.

My Experience with ASAMU is not the first time, as I remember playing the old free to play thing from their website. Due to the lack of any game that resembles ASAMU (at least that I know of), I'll compare it to the old ASAMU.

The first thing that I notice is the change of story and the cutscenes. They don't have that stuff back in the day, and I personally welcome the addition. The only thing that kind of disappoints me is the lack of emotion during the story-telling of main character to her daughter. I get it that story was never the strong part even in old ASAMU, but if they really want to take the game into storry-telling direction they can at least make the story-teller a little bit more... Expressive. This doesn't affect the natives as they are not human to begin with, so I give them a benefit of the doubt by assuming they have different culture.

The second thing that is noticeable is the change of maps, which is pretty minor. They also make the town a lot bigger and vibrant than the old ASAMU so there is that.

As far as music goes, I think they are hit and miss, the music in sanctuary is really good and fit the atmosphere while the city didn't.

The biggest upgrade is probably in the graphical and setting department. This is welcomed as setting is non-existant in the older one. As far as graphical update goes, it is really good. The saddest thing that comes to my mind are several graphical glitches, which are more prominent compared to old ASAMU.

The question now is should you buy this game? Yes is my answer. It brings something fresh to the whole first person gaming market and as one of the pioneer(?) it is pretty impressive.

ALSO IT IS THE CLOSEST FIRST PERSON SPIDERMAN SIMULATOR THAT WE CAN GET UNTIL MARVEL SOMEHOW DOES THAT-

Oh indie games, how can you guys always surprised me. I stumbled upon this game from my friend's playlist and look at the main page. I decided to download it since it's free, so why the hell not. The Plan, as the main page mention, is a experimental indie game. It is worth noting that throughout my experience experimental is really hit and miss when it comes to conveying the message.
As you can probably see (or feel, idk), message is something... subjective. One person might feel like it hits the spot because they can clearly see what the developers are trying to do while other people don't. In order to convey this, developers can either make the imagery as obvious as possible (like desolated space to convey loneliness, black fog as threat, so on and so forth) or take an pretty much general idea and make it subtle, so the players can pretty much get the similar idea. I must say that The Plan is pretty much a mix of those two, and they successfully done that.
From what I get, it's a journey of life in a nutshell and how someone have to struggle with the inevitable. They did a great job when it comes to imagery. In order to make it spoiler free, you are a fly and you have to fly to the top. That's it, no more no less. What I should mention is that the higher you fly the bigger the space around you. This convey how as human grow they start to realize how small and pitiful they are. The rest are pretty general so I guess you can pretty much guest what they mean.
The music department aren't to shabby either, the last music is especially fitting. Too bad there aren't a lot of them, although I feel like this is intended.
Overall, this game is recommended because it's one of the few free games on Steam while at the same time an enjoyable (albeit short) experience.
