As a Mushoku Tensei reader and watcher, I love this series but this game is a pretty lazy slap together in terms of the actual gameplay. It feels like they wanted to rely heavily on voice acting which is the only thing that is done well.

From what I've experienced, there's nothing new in this story. It just kind of allows you to step into their shoes on the adventure you've seen before.

I hope that Mushoku Tensei gets a different game adaptation because the world is so amazingly thought out and there is a vast potential for any part of it to become a game of a different, maybe more engaging, genre.

I exclusively play the game in co-op mode and there are so many desync issues. We would end the day with the same amount of points but the non-host player would sometimes not get exp added to them. You could be driving along and smash into an invisible car. On the topic of driving, the driving mechanics in this game are absolute trash.

Bit of a joke of a game. Play it for the shenanigans, try not to pay for it. It's really not worth anyone's money at the moment. Really gives off that feel of a rushed Unreal Engine game.

Removed classic cars, broken controls (Force Feedback dies randomly), car settings don't make sense (how is max rear tire pressure the norm??), 2-player career stole my money buying driver perks and the perk wasn't activated, engine wear is crazy exaggerated (we did 2 races and we're at 30% wear).

Not even an EA critic but wow this a big step backwards for the game series.
