Game wont f-ing launch. What a pile of crap. Fix your game Xbox game studios >:(
Waste of money.
PC specs
rtx 3060, 96g ram, z590, noctua cooling tower, coolermaster haf lan box case. Beast of a PC, no reason for this to be failing to even launch.

Minor Spoilers!
Pros;
Nostalgia, Rengeki, Awakening, scenery, great soundtrack, great voice actors(mostly), interesting characters, affection system, customizable weapons, classic jrpg feel.
Cons;
Somewhat repetitive, leveling is too easy, level scaling damage makes enemies a few levels lower than you seem pathetically weak, Volume 4 takes about 20 minutes to complete and was a total waste of time, plus the animated cut scenes in volume 4 do not play well, not to mention Haseos 5th form takes over and makes your previous skills and weapons unusable.

With all of this in mind, I would still recommend this game to any anime, or classic rpg fans out there. Its still alot of fun, and the story is wild. Especially recommended to any sword art fans out there since this is a remake of the game/anime that sword art ripped off.

One of the most underrated RPG adventure games of its time, Dark Arisen boasts all the challenge of a Souls game, with climbing mechanics similar to Assassins Creed and Shadow of the Colossus and has a ton of unique playable classes that you can switch between throughout your adventure. This game absolutely nailed it when it came to boss fights, as well as character diversity. My personal favorite is their unique class called the Magic Archer which is something I have never seen in any other game before or since this game came out and I have no idea why because it is such a great idea and is so fun to play!
Character customization is pretty nice, could use a small bit of improvement but overall is better than most games. The only real complaint I have about the game is that I can't go help a friend in their world as my pawn, this game needs multiplayer! 9 out of 10, outstanding game!

I have absolutely no idea why this game receives any praise from anyone, it is so buggy and unplayable. You start the game by spending 20-30 minutes doing a data transfer even if you haven't played it before because the old company that owned it sold it and that is our problem apparently. After that you get to create a character which admittedly is pretty fantastic and in depth. After creating your character you are dropped into the world with no purpose, no prologue, no story, and what feels like absolutely no reason to exist and are flooded with global chat and popups about other players you don't know failing and or succeeding to upgrade their gear in the middle of your screen, this does not go away even if you go into your settings and find the option to turn it off. Moving forward and attempting to just play despite all this crap, you are started on very basic repetitive go to location A kill X amount of creature quests. Selecting and navigating to your quests is incredibly buggy and doesn't seem to work correctly either as it should. Once you manage to get the quest you want to be selected it will direct you to a new location sometimes, other times it will not and you will be lost again. Other quests will lead you to specific locations where you 'summon' a miniboss to fight but beware because these quests don't tend to summon the big enemy you are to fight or explain why it won't and you will be stuck standing next to their summon location wondering why. If you close the game, reopen it, log in to pearl abyss, and steam, then load back in it fixes it sometimes but I left off stuck on one. This game is broken garbage. DO NOT PLAY.

Simple, straight forward, and colorful. This game has excellent character diversity, and some pretty funny little voice lines scattered about in all the right places. Solo play is balanced with an upgrade-able ai robot companion capable of taking commands or acting as a drone while you mine. The late game is also pretty great for the more hardcore players with an excellent variety of unlockable/upgrade-able perks for your character, armor, and weapons as well. I would recommend this game to anybody.
All that being said, it is still just out of early access so it does have its bugs but the dev team seems to be on top of trying to fix those.

This game is as fun as it is challenging and its unique in its simplicity.
If you are a fan of rhythmic games like Audiosurf, then you should definitely get this one. Ive yet to beat it due to the challenge imposed at the stage Im on, however I can say it is a game worth playing to the end. It rewards you for paying close attenion to your own actions and punishes you for trying to spam buttons, so button mashers beware!

Truly a game for the ages, it was as fun to play now as it was when I had it on the original XBox as a kid. The only things that could make it better would be if they put some steam achievements in, and allowed for controller play

For a hack and slash style of game, this one stands out greatly. Everywhere you go has a soundtrack that completely blows you away and ontop of that is very visually appealing. While the enemy design is somewhat uncreative, the story gives an oustanding depth to them. Robots who are somehow developing human emotions and concepts... its freaky really...
Combat is outstanding. The main character 2B is a close range fighter and every weapon has its own moveset that can be combined with another weapon in your off hand to create an even more unique fighting style. After completing the 1st playthrough you get to play as her companion 9S who is more of a ranged fighter and excells at controlling the enemy, he uses the same weapons as 2B, but completely differently. I would reccomend this game to anyone

Don't play this game, most of the features that should be in the game as basic core mechanics are not and the only way to get them is with real money. The list of things includes, basic upgrade materials for weapons and armor, advanced upgrade materials for the same, pets, basic QoL items such as one that allows you to move from place to place in towns with ease, backpack space, guild storage, all cosmetics including hair, eye color, facepaint/makeup, underarmor, vanity armor... the list goes on... and everything is seperate. In order to fully experience this game, you would need to spend hundreds of dollars. Do not play this game
