Now, I'm not particularly good at this game, but the problem is this game is a grind fest, now I don't mind grinding (I've played Elite Dangerous lmao) but I've found that as a free player i'm stuck at about BR 5.0 for tanks and about BR 4.0 for planes, for context you can go up to 11 BR (sometimes higher). If you buy premium jets however, you can buy your way up to BR 11.0, such as the F-4S Phantom 2 which costs 63 GBP lmfao

The game is pay to progress, about half the game is locked away behind a paywall because the grind becomes nigh impossible in the midgame.

If gaijin were to:
A: Remove repair costs
B: buff RP income
C: Remove training costs (this one is not so necessary)

Then I think the community would be much happier, and it'd make F2P players access the top ranks much easier.

Fun game, good for entertaining you for an hour or so

This game is incredible. IMO this defines the FPS genre, just lobotomise yourself and shoot, the weapon power scaling is good, ammo is not a constant threat, and easy to get back (with the chainsaw), INCREDIBLE glory kill animations, and best of all, every single weapon seems useful throughout the entire game, yes, including the pistol (for picking off enemies from far away)

Nitpicks:
Some of the levels are a little confusing to navigate
I felt the BFG got a little too many ammo pickups, leading to reliance on it more than i think should be necessary

Overall: GET THIS GAME! ESPECIALLY DURING A SALE!

id software have done everything within their power to make a great game, and they have succeeded, especially going full anti-bethesda on Doom Eternal with their promise of no microtransactions

Game is fun, used to hate it, it's actually pretty neat

If you own a VR headset, don't get this game, it will automatically activate steamVR then crash the game, it was fun while it lasted tho.

Well, it's not that i think no-one should buy it, it's that valve seems to have put realism above game balance:
e.g. Heavy machine gunner has massive recoil when not mounted onto something, i mean facing upward while firing recoil, and also that the heavy machine gun deals so much damage, 2 hits can kill you. The German team's rocket launcher guy has an automatic pistol variant and the American's teams rocket guy has a small rifle. But for realism, it's not that historically accurate either, e.g. the Panzashrek (not sure if i have spelled it correctly), the german rocket launcher, was designed for infantry to use AGAINST vehicles, so the Panzashrek should have a larger radius.

This game was not for me, but it's up to you, i cannot like it nor dislike it, i think you should play this game and if you don't like it, that's what refunds are for!

Great game, updates come out frequently and is overall quite great!

I just wish i could attach rovers to shuttles, so i can move around in different planets!
