My favourite extraction shooter.

Despite the popular opinion that this game is hyper-competitive, what surprised me most is how forgiving it feels compared to other games in the genre. You still get gear fear, but it’s not the kind where losing one loadout ruins your next few runs. It feels more like teams of 3 FFA with extraction layered on top, making it easier to recover and just keep playing.

Gunplay is classic Bungie, solid as ever. The art direction and overall aesthetic are a huge highlight too. I usually don’t like aesthetic/character designs like this, but it definitely works here. Maps are well designed and loot feels easy enough to find.

UI is a bit rough at first but becomes easy to navigate once you learn it. My only real frustration is that the AI sometimes overwhelms you out of nowhere. Possible skill issue. Some critics say this proves the AI is simplistic/shallow, but I think there’s more nuance to it that I haven’t figured out yet.

Kind of hard to say who this game is for since it seems pretty polarizing. If you like Bungie shooters, you’ll probably enjoy it.

Overall: solid extraction shooter with a really unique look and classic Bungie gunplay.

In 2019, this man caused a multiple-vehicle collision on the Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway, west bound, leaving 6 seriously injured, and 2 deceased. The "accident" took place travelling at speeds reaching over 160 km/h. An investigation was launched, to identify the cause of the crash, but authorities never came to a conclusive decision. I was hired as a private investigator to follow and document the movements and actions of Mr. 'Meegz". I was there, I watched as he commit this heinous crime with no remorse or thought to the lives it could ruin. I only speak of this now because the guilt eats away at me each night, knowing the damage this event has caused. I hope this information reaches the right people, and this can finally be put to rest.
