Overall a great experiene. Writing this a few days after launch. Not recommended for mouse+keyboard players untill they patch the controls. Some QoL updates are needed, but I believe it can all be remedied.

Have tested the game on 2 PCs and a Mac, it runs really well, looks amazing, good to play with a controller.

* Will take north of 20 minutes to open/pre-compile shaders every time there is a patch for the game or driver update for your system, which is several times a week. I'm sure over 50% of my playtime is just waiting for the game to start/restart/do updates outside steam/pre-compile ♥♥♥♥ etc.
* Spend another 15-20% of your time janking around in the worst menus ever(have the game on console and mobile too, and it sucks equally on all platforms)
* Game barely runs on my system despite not looking particularly impressive (i5 11600K, 32GB Ram, 3060TI 8GB as of writing this).
* Takes too much space despite not looking great.

I mean, potentially the game could be fun if it worked, but it doesnt. I spent 25 hours trying to get this game running somewhat satisfactory, but it's obvious that whatever IW is doing here is too complicated for them to master and put out a stable product. I really cant tell if the gameplay is good or bad because the tech is always in the way of the game.
This steaming bag of ♥♥♥♥♥ just barely chugs along, combining unoptimized assets with an unoptimized engine to create this insult to gamers. The most expensive shooter on the market and if feels the worst

Early Access Review
Excellent survival/coop game. Great pacing, organic goals and overall solid design makes this pretty much the best game in the genre imo.

Charming mix between Top-Down Zelda and Souls-like genres. Haven't completed the game yet but so far It's charming and just challenging enough.

Awesomenauts is an amazing 2D platform MOBA, with a variety of interesting heroes to play and great varied maps for its genre. it will teach you the basics of the MOBA genre effectively, as the matches are shorter and there are fewer players and less things happening at all times. It has a colourfull and fletched out art style, and whilst does not the most amazing artwork of all time, it still looks pretty good. More importantly, the graphics are clear and its easy to see whats going on.

All in all I've had a lot of fun with Awesomenauts and I would reccomend it to people curious about the MOBA genre, or someone looking for something requiring less investement than DOTA or the likes.
