DEMOCRACY HAS PREVAILED

I almost never bring myself to recommend games, and I absolutely loathe Roguelikes, but I cannot put this game down. Obviously it's still in early access and all the characters aren't even in the game yet as I write this. However, this should not deter you from purchasing the game and spending countless hours on it.

The combat is turn-based deck building, kind of like Baten Kaitos, which if none of you are familiar with that game, then you have missed out on some of the most atrocious voice acting I've ever heard in a game, Original Resident Evil included.

It's fast-paced enough to keep you on your toes but you're also able to sit back and strategize a bit. Card draw is random except in the case of a specific relic, relics being static buffs and abilities your character can acquire throughout a run.

You will die a lot. You will have moments when you get dunked on while the enemy boss has 1hp left.

You can also poison things to death, and use your defense stat to body slam into a snake for 200+ damage.
