Just so people know, the ban was back in 2012/2013 in like my Sophmore/Junior year of High School. Remember LMAO box for tf2? Yeah well I downloaded something different and was messing around with it on an alt account at the time, and many lols were had; Obviously I wasn't stupid enough to use this on my real profile...
Buuut it's still my fault because I guess it must've installed into the actual Steam client itself, 'cause when I logged back into my main I got insta-flagged, and insta-banned. No warning at all, and no chance to appeal because VAC rules.
Sweet Lord Baby Jesus was I upset. Almost 3000 hours in tf2 (the only game I really played at the time), and hundreds of dollars worth of hats (through grinding) gone in an instant.
Was all that really deserved? I'm sure many would argue yes and I suppose that's fine, but what really bothers me is the fact that it deleted most of my time in-game. Why? For what purpose? Possesions purged but a legacy has to get ruined too? Now I don't think that's fair at all.
