Early Access Review
Bought in order to try the FPS mode. Unfortunately the FPS mode is extremely basic, there isn't an option to toggle sprint. It takes an age to move around the map.

Very enjoyable game so far, could benefit from some additional bosses, classes and cards but feels very polished given it's in early access. Looking forward to further updates.

Cleared all achievements in around 7 hours but still have a number of unlocks to go. It's very addictive and surprisingly well constructed. There is clearly scope for more content, upgrades, weapons etc, but at such a reasonably low price-point there is plenty of bang for your buck as it is.

EDIT: There have been a huge number of updates to this game since my original review. I now have over 60 hours of gameplay and have unlocked the new achievements. The developer has been super open about their development road map and updates are regular. Undoubtedly the best value game I've purchased.

It feels like a retro 4x game but with alot of nuance. There is plenty to learn about the different factions and strategies.

This is an entertaining game which feels like a mixture of Slay the Spire, Darkest Dungeon and oddly...Hades. Although the gameplay is nothing like Hades, the progression mechanic is. Each time you fail to complete the game, you tend to learn more and make it further through on the next run. You also increase your starting pool of funds, improve the starter town and unlock new card options each run which will make future playthroughs that little bit easier.

Co-op has also been alot of fun. I've played with 2, 3 and 4 players in different runs. I really like the fact that someone else can take over a character mid-run if that's what the group wants and also that you could continue a run with less players if someone needs to drop out.

This still has a lot of development in its future, but this game feels like it hasn't gone to early access prematurely, the content feels polished and well thought out and the devs are clearly passionate about adding more content and options.

Very amusing distraction even if there is no game!

An enjoyable nostalgic romp through a point and click adventure game. Amazing that they just released it for free.

Solid roguelike, I enjoy the legacy elements. Feels like a real narrative is being built.

Only played a few hours so far, I'm a fan of the Board Game and this is a very slick port over to a digital format. I played with a few friends and the hours just seemed to slip by, it's really fun with a lot of potential challenges.

A fantastic retro-style platformer. The plot is more than a little off the wall although that's just part of the charm.
